I stayed in this place for 5 days attending a course in Somerville college. One way taxi to the Gloucester Green bus terminal or to the Oxford train station cost around £7-8. The place is small and facilities were minimal. It is undergoing renovation which was not mentioned in the Agoda website through which I had booked. I had a...

We were advised that the hotel was being refurbished. The work did not affect us at all. We were in a family room which was large and well appointed. The room was warm and comfortable but a little tired and obviously due to be upgraded. Only an average score for this reason but probably would be higher when work is...

We were looked after by a very friendly team, who helped us with planning our time in Oxford, printing out tickets, booking taxis and dinners. The room had a newly refurbished bathroom of a high standard. The breakfast was descent. They even serve organic milk which was ideal for our children and their coffee is delicious. We were lucky with...

I booked for one adult, one night. The location was good, but when I arrived the small car park was cluttered with a skip and lots of old baths. Inside, the new bathroom furniture cluttered the hall way. Not a good look, although I had some hope I might be going to a newly refurbished room. I was whisked up...

When we arrived we were told that our room was due to be refurbished and unfortunately the mirror had just fallen off the wall. The room was very shabby and the bathroom mirror frame was broken and the toilet took a long time to fill. The door lock was hit and miss too. Because the builders were there two parking...

A comfortable hotel, friendly and responsive personal, good location in calm place. It seems to me that it has an optimal balance "price vs quality". We definitely visit it once again when we return to Oxford.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel off the beaten path. I appreciated the quiet of this hotel, the very clean rooms and lovely toiletries. It was wonderful to have a complementary selection of teas and a cappuccino machine in the main area available at all times. The room was very comfortable and the staff was helpful. I would definitely...

We stayed for one night in February as we were seeing a show at the New Theatre. This was a perfect location as it wasn't too expensive in taxi fares. The B&b itself is a beautiful big house with a lovely garden to relax in if the weather had been nice enough. The young lady on reception gave us a...

The room we stayed in was large and semi comfortable, it was very different experience to other hotels we have stayed in, it felt more like a hostel where you get an ensuite room but nothing else. We didnt have breakfast so can't comment but even that felt different. There wasn't much information given at the check in bar being...
