We went for Sunday brunch it was 4 courses and delicious. Plenty to choose from and all beautifully presented.we had the roast beef and Yorkshire the beef was cooked just as we liked it. The service was excellent we had a fantastic waiter called Lorenzo but the whole team were very friendly. Would go again.

Stayed here for two nights. It's a converted prison and has kept many of the original features so really quite interesting to visit. I wished I had a better head for heights crossing the original prison landing...Some of the rooms are based on 3 of the original cells, with two for the room, and one for the ensuite. You can...

It was an amazing experience - loved that it used to be an old prison that they've converted. The room was spacious and clean; the bed extremely comfortable as well. The hotel staff were lovely and friendly at all hours for whatever we required. Will definitely be coming back here!

The well know and suitably named Malmaison (bad house) Oxford prison was a delight – no wonder prisons are full! – conversion to a hotel must have been an enormous task, but worth the effort. Very comfortable ‘cell’, even included a flushing toilet! Dinner was excellent, albeit not cheap, a previous guest seemed to find fault with the staff –...

A unique venue which was niche and pleasant, however it's not well sign posted when you arrive and we had to call the hotel to be talked in to only talk to a guy who had new idea on the area. Car parking is 28 quid so one night o,us parking was £213. Booked a table by phone from our...

My friend treated me to afternoon tea at Malmaison Oxford in January at it was lovely. Great selection of tea or alcoholic drinks if you wish and a great selection food. The staff were friendly and provided great service. I would definitely suggest to friends and I am planning to treat my mum and nan there soon.

This place is wow off the scale. Rooms named after cells this former prison does it for mr. Hopefully the closest I will get to jail but what a good use of an old building. And fun to boot. Great location. Great staff.

Obviously great location in site of old prison, so very special with bedrooms made of three old cells. This is really cool and the hotel location is very good as right in the centre. Rooms are comfortable, functional with some nice touches like prison type carpets. Now for the not so good , breakfast real let down for a hotel...

On sundays they do a deal where the room is £25 if you spend £75 in restaurant, the room was pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant was very underwhelming, poor service and the food was really quite awful - I barely touched my meal. I am not a huge one for writing reviews, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. I...
