A wonderful guest house. My family stayed here for my sons wedding a few weeks ago. The owners were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother. They allowed us to use their garden with our 4 year old grand daughter, and even found her some toys to play with. The room was small, but very clean - Spotless...

We have just returned from an 8 week trip around UK & Ireland using 41 different B&Bs and found Gables Guest House Oxford (our last night) an excellent place to stay. Off street parking is available in front of the house. The owner Sally was absent during our visit but we received a warm welcome from her replacement who did...

From now on, this is where we will try to stay when visiting Oxford. It is truly an outstanding B&B and boasts the best full monty breakfast we've ever had, and I've been going to England since 1970. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and cosy. The garden is beautiful and extremely well-maintained, and the promixity of the establishment to...

Stayed here a couple of nights on the way to Winchester. Pleasantly surprised by its clean and cozy rooms. The hostess Sally was friendly and cheerful with a big smile all the time. She even mailed my sunglasses to my hotel in London after she discovered them.

We were only able to stay one night at Gables but it was a very enjoyable stay. Sally was on holidays but Richard looked after us very well including cooking a terrific breakfast. The bus stop is right outside so we were able to get around easily. Highly recommended.

Stayed for just 1 night while visiting Oxford. Our host could not have been more helpful and offered to arranged us a cab into town. Our room was clean and quiet with very nice garden views. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide selection to choose from. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. We would thoroughly recommend this B&B.

Gables is a small guest house conveniently a short distance outside the Oxford city center , but just a few yards from the local bus stop into Oxford. The full English made-to-order breakfasts are outstanding as are the simple continental-style ones. Our double room was very comfortable with a window overlooking the back garden. The managers also provided the room...

I spent two nights at the Gables and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a base when exploring Oxford. I got a warm welcome with a very comfortable room. The delicious full English breakfast really sets you up for a days sightseeing. Sally and her husband make you feel totally at home, I will stay there again...
