Four of us decided to have a night away and chose Woodstock as one of our number had never been to Blenheim Palace. Great welcome at the hotel and had what we had booked was confirmed. This was one nights stay for two with breakfast, dinner, a gin (from a wide selection gins) and tonic and tickets for Blenheim Palace....

No car park, no problem. Despite 3 hours only street parking, not a problem! I think the wardens appreciate their gem of a town and the visitors. Now to the Feathers! Old, like many of the places in Woodstock but perfectly 'in sync' with it's neighbours. The inside of the hotel spotlessly clean, low beams, great atmosphere. Nice seating area...

Went back to the Feathers with my wife having visited in February for a business meeting. This they were busier and had more staff on Which was a good thing. From start to finish the overall experience was very, very good. I had mackerel and venison pie. The pie was exceptional especially the pastry. 98% the food is exceptional and...

Got a Groupon deal for afternoon tea here - £25 for 2 instead of £36 - Nice enough hotel if a little shabby in places. Was OK value for £25 bit certainly not worth the £36(plus 10%service charge = almost£40!). Good selection of teas nice scones and cakes but sandwiches although lovely and fresh were dolls house size! Don't go...

The service matched the food. Poor. We had a travelzoo voucher they wouldn't accept although we phoned up and enquired about it the week before. They made it a real negative experience. When asked for what tea they had? The smug waiter said "we got it all" (we were hoping for a menu) so we asked for Breakfast tea.. which...

It is a very nice and quaint hotel. But suffers from noise from passing people and traffic. All staff are very friendly and courteous. When we stayed there was only about 10 guests, so I would assume that it was a quiet time. The restaurant is very nice, but we seemed to have to wait an extraordinary long time between...

Stayed a couple of nights in a room with seriously wonky floor. So much so that I couldn't put a glass on the chest of drawers. The room had a v old school TV that had no radio facility and needed propping up so I could see it from the bed. The shower had been modernised and was powerful. In...

We stayed here after we had a Groupon deal. We arrived and the receptionist was so lovely. He took our bags and we got our tickets for Blenheim Place. (These were included in the deal; I would not have paid for these separately as these were £25 a ticket!!) The Palace was only 10 minute walk away once you go...

We had a package deal staying one night with dinner for two plus complimentary gin and tonic and then a ticket to visit Blenheim Palace next day. The staff were all extremely helpful, both when booking and on arrival. No tea and coffee making in the rooms, but these were just a quick phonecall away and arrived without delay. A...

Stayed overnight on a short trip as son had an audition at nearby Oxford drama school. Lovely cosy warm hotel in a lovely quaint town. Nice welcoming feel to the whole hotel. Didn't try the food in the restaurant but the food in the pub next door was great for what we wanted. Wish we could have stayed longer
