we were looking for somewhere on Monday for a snack/ lunch, we saw the buttery inn and decided to go in. The tea rooms are in a good location and the menu is good. I had an afternoon tea and my husband chose ham and eggs off the main menu. The food was as expected and satisfying. The service however...

Really lovely place. Have been coming for years. It's old fashioned and traditional with fresh cakes waiting for you. Nice open fire. A good choice after a walk round the palace. The staff have always been accommodating. I have enjoyed every visit here.

The location of this guesthouse is great. It is literally round the corner from Blenheim palace and surrounded by very good restaurants and bars. The bed was comfortable and the linen clean. It is also very quiet and the traditional English breakfast is excellent. However, it is very, very dated, circa 1980s, for example our bed had a peach coloured...

this is a cosy guest house located very close to the palace's gates. we only stayed one night in the deluxe double room. the room is big and comfortable, very clean but as others have mentioned, it could do with a general update: it feels rather tired in places, namely carpets, furniture and the bathroom. note that the deluxe room...

Attended function at Palace, this Guest House was a perfect location virtually by the entrance Gate, Beds were fresh, clean & comfortable. Very good Breakfast, I would say it was good value for this area, However it could really do with updating as the decor was old & tired,

Friendly, warm, good breakfast. Needs updating and doesn't seem to be anyone around at night. Got a smell of drains in the bathroom. Located right near the palace and on the central high street. I'd stay again but would look elsewhere first.

Good things: free wifi, quiet, pretty location, comfortable bed. Awful things: room smelled of blocked drain, blocked drain in bathroom sink, dirty towel. Breakfast is served from 8; I explained I'd have to leave before then and the woman who greeted me shrugged and said someone else was doing the same thing! I had been booked in by work for...

Woodstock is quite an expensive place to stay and we have been searching for a new B and B since our last one closed. A real shame as we loved their breakfast and hospitality. We stay once a year for the triathlon when the town gets very busy. This was our first stay. The owners are super helpful and very...

This was our final port of call after 3 days walking on The Shakespeare's Way. It is a picturesque old building at a peaceful end of Park St. Our room was at the very top of the building, reached by a labyrinthine series of stairs & landings. Our bedroom was separate from the bathroom/toilet but it is all situated on...

Stayed here overnight when we visited Blenheim Palace and it was literally just round the corner from the palace. The guesthouse was old, quirky but very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and everything was cooked to order. The room cost £95 which include breakfast and in our view well...
