The Marlborough Arms is a beautiful 15th century coaching inn, situated in the heart of Woodstock, overlooking historical streets and offers Bed and Breakfast. Whilst guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings they still have good links to the M40. The hotel has been elegantly finished in a classic style in-keeping with the character of the building and surrounding area, with contemporary touches throughout. Guests can also take advantage of the inn's own car park located directly behind the property. Each of the thirteen luxurious en-suite bedrooms are all individually themed with a focus on comfort and relaxation. All rooms differ in shape, size and style, ranging from the Cobalt Room, which is situated overlooking the courtyard which has a contemporary feel with beautiful sensuous fabrics and natural morning light, through to the Sepia Room, which is a very large room with a striking interior of deep greys and gentle soft tones, set off with modern lamps and cushions. All of the rooms have flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdriers, irons and ironing boards. Some have baths, some large walk-in showers and some rooms are equipped with both!

Thank you for your lovely review. We are so pleased we were able to upgrade you for your wedding Anniversary, and we are glad you enjoyed your complimentary cream tea and prosecco - we find our promotions on Secret Escapes and Travelzoo are always a huge success. Thank you for your kind words about Angelika - we will definitely pass on your compliments on to her. Our location is indeed really perfect for all that Woodstock has to offer, from Blenheim Palace, to all the lovely shops and galleries, not to mention the many restaurants, a few of which, as you mentioned in your review, kindly offer guests of the Marlborough Arms a discount when mentioning us upon booking. We really look forward to welcoming you back again one day.

We were given a gift voucher for Christmas for afternoon tea here. The booking process was straight forward and the lady knew who we were when we arrived. Our afternoon tea was in a front room we had to ourselves, we enjoyed the decor and the sun shining through as we tucked

Called in whilst out walking the village of Woodstock. Strange place, contemplated staying here before we booked the bear, glad we didn’t. We had a very nice coffee and sat in what looked to be a cross between the foyer and small bar area which wasn’t very cosy.
