Spacious, clean and well decorated rooms. Friendly staff, delightful cream tea and nice breakfast. However, if you're disturbed by road noise choose a room at the back as the traffic kept us awake most of the night. I'd also suggest you choose a room on the top floor as the noise of the romantic liaisons of the couple in the...

Thank you for your kind review, we are really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and that you found your cream tea delightful.   We are sorry you were disturbed by both sets of noises, we do have triple glazing in all our rooms which face the road to try and combat this issue, which generally works.  We look forward to welcoming you back one day.

Visited with family and we had 4 rooms (two couples had dogs), and we found the whole time we were there wonderful. The building and rooms are full of character, and because we had 4 bedrooms, we were able to look at each other's rooms - which we found with delight that they all had different charisma. Our bed was...

I was traveling from the States with my daughter (20) and son (11). Decided to stay here and go to Blenheim Palace the next day. We had a nice, comfortable stay in this historic place that dates back to 1469 or before as The George Inne. We arrived late, from London, and just happened on the car park you can...

The Marlborough Arms is a beautiful 15th century coaching inn, situated in the heart of Woodstock, overlooking historical streets and offers Bed and Breakfast. Whilst guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the surroundings they still have good links to the M40. The hotel has been elegantly finished in a classic style in-keeping with the character of the building and surrounding area, with contemporary touches throughout. Guests can also take advantage of the inn's own car park located directly behind the property. Each of the thirteen luxurious en-suite bedrooms are all individually themed with a focus on comfort and relaxation. All rooms differ in shape, size and style, ranging from the Cobalt Room, which is situated overlooking the courtyard which has a contemporary feel with beautiful sensuous fabrics and natural morning light, through to the Sepia Room, which is a very large room with a striking interior of deep greys and gentle soft tones, set off with modern lamps and cushions. All of the rooms have flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdriers, irons and ironing boards. Some have baths, some large walk-in showers and some rooms are equipped with both! ... more   less
