We stayed in the Charlbury Suite for my boyfriends birthday and it was simply superb. The hosts welcomed us in to their beautiful property and went above and beyond during our stay. We were offered a glass of bubbles on arrival and they booked dinner for us (which we were kindly offered as they recommend the best restaurants) and they arranged...

What an amazing property. I had the pleasure of staying here, a place that I just booked on the off chance and thought to myself, this place looks nice... let's give it a go. I was not disappointed! After getting a very warm greeting, at a very well hidden doorway, we were guided upstairs in this magnificent house, into a...

We spent one night at The Glove House and we loved it! Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The house has lots of charm! The owner offered us a glass of Prosecco before we went out for dinner across the road at The Kings Arms (delicious dinner). We had breakfast in the house and we ordered some...

We have stayed in and around the Cotswolds many times but this was our first stay in Woodstock, a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The Glove House is a real 'find'. Francesco the owner made us very welcome, making us tea on arrival. The suite of rooms was clean, warm and beautifully furnished with good furniture. To my...

Amazing hospitality, with lovely touches everywhere you look. Could have just stayed in the room the whole time as was v difficult to leave such comfort. And the breakfast was to die for - exceptional quality. We'll definitely be back. We stayed in Bladon and it was huge - way bigger than it looks in the photos. Incredibly peaceful and...

We stayed at the Glove House for two nights for a winter break. The reviews do not do it justice. Francesco is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble from coming to the car to help us with our luggage to providing us with a pot of tea while we unpacked. The room was fantastic and would not be...

We stayed here for 1 night to celebrate my birthday as we were visiting Blenheim Palace the following day. Francesco greeted us on arrival and came with us to the car to help with our luggage. He showed us to our room and upon realising it was my birthday said we should have mentioned it and they would have provided...

The Glove House is a beautiful 17th Century Grade II listed property, nestling on the edge of the Cotswolds, in the very special historic town of Woodstock. This Cotswold stone townhouse, formerly used as a glove workshop, has been renovated and converted into a new small luxury bed and breakfast. Within 500 metres of Blenheim Palace, a few miles from the historic town of Oxford and close to the vibrant shopping facilities of Bicester village, The Glove House has three spacious ensuite rooms: The Bladon, The Woodstock Small Suite and The Charlbury Suite. The bedrooms are charming and quiet, overlooking picturesque Woodstock and the walled garden. All the rooms are furnished with antiques as well as works of art and have been beautifully decorated with fine linens and Cotswold wools; they have been painted in calming neutral colours reflective of the English countryside. Breakfasts include traditional cooked English breakfast, sourced from a local farm as well as homemade produce. In the summer, breakfast can be served in the lovely walled garden; in the winter guests can eat in the elegant dining room or in the panelled sitting room in front of the fire. All rooms have sumptuous divan beds with pocket sprung mattresses, and upholstered headboards and valances, while the bedlinen is of the finest cotton percale.
