A super-friendly host in a quaint old house in the historic village of Woodstock. It is right on the doorstep on Blenheim Palace as well as numerous other lovely places to visit in the area. Rooms are clean and comfortable and at a good price. The breakfasts provide a wide selection of choice including the traditional full English cooked to perfection. Will most definitely visit again.

Great value for money. The Building is a lovely quaint old townhouse, quirky details both old and new. Room was very good, comfy bed with nice quality fresh-smelling bedding. In the room we had teas/coffee things, tissues, toiletries, TV, plenty of towels. There is a lovely outside courtyard which guests can use. Breakfast was a wide range of things, including choices of a booked breakfasts. The scrambled eggs were delicious. The bathroom was in keeping with the style of the property, the shower was not the most modern, but overall for the price the stay represented great value for money. Our room had a window overlooking the High Street and we kept the window open a little overnight and were surprised at how quiet it was. We were able to park outside, and the larger carpark is, as others have said, about 5 mins walk away. (my attached photo is the map, which shows parking and the central location of The Townhouse. To mention the host, he is the most hospitable, kind, welcoming person you could hope to meet and looked after us very well. We wouldn't hesitate to return if in woodstock again and would recomend 100%

Delightful traditional townhouse ideally situated for visiting Blenheim Palace which is a short walk away. This was our second stay in The Townhouse where we were again hosted by the wonderful Steve whose friendly and helpful disposition really made our stay on both occasions. His freshly cooked full English breakfasts are the best I've tasted for a long time. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Traditional B&B located right in the middle of Woodstock. Friendly and welcoming host who was keen to ensure you are comfortable. Reasonable size room and comfortable bed. Clean and tidy without being amazing. Enjoyable breakfast, my full English was enjoyable and freshly cooked. You get three main choices for breakfast, although more if you order the night before. Well located for Blenheim Palace, and easy to stroll around Woodstock with its pubs, shops etc. Lots of places to eat out in the evening, focused on pubs. Although parking right outside is timed during the day (unlimited at night) there is a car park that is not timed, is just 5 minutes away. And all parking is free. Overall a nice place to stay if you’re after a B&B.

Wonderful. We had to stay due to a mixup with the travel agency. But it was no mistake. The host, Steve, is a wonderful person, with a good sense of humor and extremely helpful. I loved the names of the rooms and the bathtub! The rooms were very clean and the area was very quiet, just what you need after a long day in busy Oxford. The busstop to Oxford where less than 5 minutes from the B&B and takes you to the heart of Oxford in ca 40 minutes.

Lovely B&B in the centre of Woodstock. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Steve is a very friendly, helpful and welcoming host. He serves a good and tasty breakfast and makes you feel at home. Woodstock is a beautiful town with much to see, and not far away from Oxford as well. The bus service to Oxford is excellent. The next time when we will visit Woodstock, we most definitely will stay at the Townhouse again.

Nice little place. Very friendly and accommodating. Reasonable prices. Treaders on the stairs are shallow. Steve is a great host. Excellent location close to Blenheim Palace. Nice little town too. Would stay again.
