We stayed here during the recent heatwave with the intention of visiting Blenheim. The hotel is nice and easy to find and although we were slightly worried about parking we found spaces in the street outside the hotel, and there was no charge! Our room was on the front of the hotel, it was called Charles, and we thought it may be noisy but no trouble at all with road/street noise. It was beautifully laid out, nice and clean with an adjoining spacious bathroom. The room was well equipped with towels, coffee machine and even a Dyson table top fan because it was so hot! Initially we stayed for 3 nights but extended for another night so we could visit the sites in London so we eat every evening in the restaurant. The food was amazing, great choice of locally sourced ingredients and very tasty! From the starters to the pudding (salted caramel tart is highly recommended) each meal was superb, there are other choices to eat in the village but we found no need. The breakfast was of the same quality, with individually cooked meals rather than buffet which was very welcome. All in all we both found the hotel and staff outstanding and would visit again without hesitation when we return for more site seeing.

I booked a well deserved weekend break for my boyfriend and definitely picked a great place to stay.
Impressive looking hotel with pretty window boxes and beautifully decorated.
Lovely room which overlooked the road and a house decorated for Halloween 🎃
Only downside was the noise from the street but it is off a main road so perhaps rooms are quieter at the back of the hotel.
Room was lovely and clean, lovely decor and a comfy bed.
Rooms are not cleaned daily due to Covid restrictions but we were only there for 2 nights and replenishments were available on request.
We had a cooked breakfast each morning which was very good and they have a very good range of meals on their menu.
Would recommend and a great base to visit this beautiful part of the country, also only a 15 minute walk to Blenheim Palace.

We stayed here on Sunday 11th July. The hotel is on the corner of the Main road and the Main Street into Woodstock with street parking outside and is conveniently located. We were welcomed into the hotel and our room was on the first floor. It was a large room with a good bathroom that had a double shower, the room was comfortable, well equipped and included a Nespresso coffee machine and a Dyson fan. The towels were large and soft and it was nice to have bathrobes. I was worried about noise from the traffic, however the room had secondary glazing and it was very quiet.
The bar was comfortable, the range of drinks very good and social distancing was good. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good quality, well presented and of a good size. We had smoked trout, then had a roast dinner which was one of the best I have had, my wife had stuffed aubergine which was also very good. The chef must be very talented and an asset to the hotel. There was a very good breakfast menu which had some imaginative dishes, they were freshly prepared and accompanied by plentiful hot drinks and fruit juices.
The hotel is very well decorated and is very clean. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. The manager is a very nice person and clearly leads his team well.
Well done to all at the Kings Arms and we would stay here again if we revisit Blenheim.

Was a bit worried about the location and noise as it’s on a busy road and the rooms are above the pub. Didn’t bother me and wasn’t too noisy.

I’m glad we chose here to stay for the weekend.

It’s very good value and you also get brekkie in the morning.

Staff are friendly and welcoming and work hard.

We did eat on our first night here we had their offer of two steaks and a bottle of wine for £30. It was pretty good.

The whole place was spotless.

Only a few house keeping points, the loo had been used and not flushed.

The mugs have coffee stains.

The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but could do with a bit of decor very bland.

Bit shocked that the payment for the room was taken before we checked out.

I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, only stayed one night for a visit to Blenheim Palace, (right next door) from leaving our cases there in the morning to being offered fresh milk upon check in and finding a Dyson fan (much appreciated) in our room it was 5* all the way even Nespresso coffee machine and capsules. Loved the breakfast, I’m not into full English, so nice to have other options, Eggs Royale, granola with yoghurt, fresh orange juice ..... perfect.
Easy on street free parking for 3 hours a day, not a problem if you’re out and about, park at 3pm, move your car by 11am next day, you can return after 2 hours.
Soft fluffy white towels, great toiletries, water in the room - I could go on ..........

We had a long, slow and very enjoyable lunch with friends in this charming old pub on The Thames. It was sunny but cold outside, and snug inside. The floor area is large with many nooks and crannies for dining, and low beams for taller customers to beware of. The selection of beers and other drinks was very good, and the large and comprehensive menus had something to suit all tastes. The staff were friendly and the service was very good. We all enjoyed our various food selections, which were reasonably priced. It was busy too, a good sign. It will be very popular in the summer because of its location on the river. Be aware we had to pay in the public car park alongside the pub, so make sure you book enough time for your visit.

Just returned home after spending 2 nights, evening meals were good value, breakfasts were excellent no problem asking for more toast with breakfast.
Was attended to by various staff from reception bar / waiting staff and I can honestly say they were all friendly professional, thank you
Only gripe, when plugging charger in, area was dusty and cobwebs were evident but this wouldn’t stop me from returning, also parking is hit and miss.
Overall great stay

We paid £62 for two with breakfast midweek so this influences my review. Had I paid more I would have given 3*.
Room was big enough with all expected facilities. Clean (apart from mould in corners of bath).
Two negatives for me were the music at 7am from what I assume was the kitchen below us. We hoped for a little sleep in but sadly not.
Secondly the breakfast was standard and nice enough but the sausages were uncooked in the middle which is a health concern being pork.
Both of these could be rectified easily enough hence my higher review.

Stayed here for two nights with the special 20% discount offered by ‘Fullers’ . Lovely old place , nice clean bedrooms on two floors ( we were at the top floor ) . A bit of traffic noise from but by 2nd night slept soundly . Great coffee machine & all the usuals in bedroom. Very comfy beds . Breakfasts were excellent with a huge range of cooked meals offered . We had two evening meals here also , great menu with fabulous choice of ‘specials’ too . The 20% discount was also on food & drink so huge saving , wish more breweries would do this during the post Christmas period , we would def use again . Woodstock is absolutely lovely , some really nice little shops & I believe 9-10 pubs ( we visited 6 !) Perfect location for Blenheim , we did drive there but could easily have walked as only ten mins from Kings Arms . We had two days in Oxford two , prob about a 20 min drive. Wholeheartedly recommend this place for location & b & b inn , shall hopefully return , the staff are lovely , nothing too much trouble , thanks to all .

Having paid £330 for b&b for 4 for one night I was fairly satisfied with the evening meal which at best could be described as adequate.( circa £150 for 4) But when I ordered the full English Breakfast I was shocked by the appalling quality of the food dished up .
Total raw material Value at best 50p a head .
Let the single piece of bacon provided speak for its self .

Could have been good but cutting corners destroyed the experience.
