Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

1 night stay before flight in morning from Heathrow.

Brilliant location just off the m4. Clean, comfortable hotel with comfy beds. Well maintained. Bed linens and towels fresh and clean. Good nights sleep.

Did not use the Costa or the Restaurant; so can't comment. Great parking.

Good experience overall. Price great, so would highly recommend.

Most Premier Inns are the same, so I won't go into detail. They are all adequate and clean. They're taking precautions against the spread of COVID-19.

This particular Premier Inn is located in a trading estate. Nothing wrong with that in itself. Parking is therefore available and free but it is located in the trading estate parking area. You put your registration number in the tablet so you don't get clamped.

In the area there is a Nandos, a Burger King, and a Costa or walk up the road to the local chippy.

Room as per Premiere Inn, this one had a bath (some only have showers).

There was only one shower and the shower didn't work. My husband informed reception and we went about our day. When we returned later that day (Saturday 11 January) there was still only one towel and this time the shower was cold so I couldn't have a shower. My husband went to complain again and the receptionist said she would get it looked at and gave my husband a towel (only the second time). We didn't want to be messed about so he asked for another room and we were given the room next door - again only with one towel but luckily we had the spare from the first complaint! It's such a shame as we were saying on our way up to Reading how reassuring our stays with Premier In are as we know exactly what to expect in the rooms and how much we love our stays with you! We even buy them as gifts for friends and family!! I was so upset by the Friday night experience - spending most of my husband's birthday complaining when we should have been celebrating. We were also saying goodbye to our son which exacerbated the upset and tears as it's never easy for me to leave him in Reading. I would certainly hesitate before booking with Premier Inn Reading (we have another stay in St Austell booked in March and have never had a complaint there.) We love the Premier Inn experience however based on this (+previous experience ) we will stay in Holiday Inn up the road!
I have also complained about the Beefeater restaurant affiliated with this premier inn

We recently spent two nights at this hotel and were more than happy with our choice. I have limited mobility so particularly wanted an accessible room and was not disappointed. Facilities were brilliant, room clean and bright, the wet room made showering so easy, not having to climb over a bath edge made all the difference and I felt perfectly safe.
Staff were very polite and helpful providing extra pillows for our comfort, and we were impressed with Covid precautions in place.
Enjoyed a really tasty meal at the Beefeater attached to the hotel and made good use of the Costa and nearby Takeaway!!

I used to live locally and was visiting relatives and needed two rooms, so I was aware of the location and it being next to a Beefeater so just really needed somewhere to sleep and eat.

Luckily, we arrived just before the Beefeater was about to close for food at 8p.m on a Saturday night!! They had a limited menu which I had known about from previous reviews but was pleasantly surprised by what was available. The food was excellent so a big shout out to “Ray” the chef and the ladies in the restaurant.

The chef who was working on his own was still clearing up when they called last orders at 10 p.m. and then doffing out the sausages at Breakfast.

As for the room it was typical premier inn and we had no bother.

Settled into a nice room with hubby for the night no issues lovely and clean. Switched on the air con and instantly felt weird vibrations then every so often the floor would shake like we were in an earthquake. Not good the bed would shake. We switched off the air con but the shaking continued. We were on the 4th floor. I should say we’ve stayed here precious and didn’t experience this! Bed was too soft for me and too high!! I’m 5ft6 and I had to almost jump to get up on it. The first night we go almost no sleep I ended up on the sofa in the room. We spoke to a guy in reception the next morning who explained it could be the air con and also there’s a big lorry depot near by which every time a lorry goes past shakes the hotel. I’d be speaking to the structural engineers if one lorry could do so much vibration makes you wonder about the structure of the hotel. He kindly offered to move us to a lower floor where we may not feel the reverb as badly but we declined mostly to the fact we were only staying one more night and had unpacked. Hotel itself spotless ideally located and comfortable just a bit shaky. Noticed other reviewers have said the same. Ideal that Nando’s is across the road too!! Breakfast in the beefeater was decent but over priced really for what it was. We would probably stay again based on the location just ask for a lower floor room.

I was visiting a friend in Reading and opted to stay here as it is very well located, only 15 mins from Reading centre and close to M4, with ample parking, also situated with restaurants and Costa Coffee on the same site.

I have stayed in many premier inns for years due to convenience and value for money, I must say that this is the best stay I have had, which means alot for someone who doesn't sleep well!

More recently I have found in some hotels rooms a little tired, some of the beds not as comfy and the rooms too warm and could hear noise from outside and in adjacent rooms. At this hotel, it was not the case at all, no noise from other rooms and couldn't tell the hotel was situated right next to a very busy dual carriageway. The temperature in the room was perfect and I slept really well. I was informed the hotel was only about 3 years old and it still had the like new feel about it, this might have contributed to the great stay but staff must be commended for keeping it to such a high standard!

Staff were also very friendly (thank you Diane for your help and warm manner, was great chatting to you upon checkout :-) )

I also ate in the restaurant which had adequate space (Nandos also on the site was a no go, 35 min wait for a table and so noisy and busy), staff very accommodating and enjoyed drinks and food which were as expected

All around, a great stay, I will definitely be back,

Thank you very much

Lovely new hotel in a good location. Very comfortable and the staff cannot do enough to help you. Good links to Reading town centre and there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast and dinner can be had a the Beefeater which is part of the hotel and is great value. I would definately recommend this hotel.

The hotel rooms, are spotless and the family room catered to us well with all the beds made up and enough towels for everyone. We had two rooms and they were opposite each other. To access the bedroom floors you required a key card and we were able to access drinks from the beefeater downstairs and bring them up to the room. We had a four month old with this and there was plenty of space to sterilise make bottles up etc. Would highly recommend
