Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have stayed here a lot over the last couple of months when work brings me this way. It’s close to the M4 and has great local amenities within walking distance, pubs, shops and takeaway's. The rooms i’ve stayed in have always been clean and extremely comfortable and with a good powerful shower. There’s free parking and no height restriction which is very handy for my larger work van. I’ve always found the staff very welcoming and helpful, Karen in particular is friendly and cheerful and always has time for a chat. This is definitely one of the best Travelodges I have stayed in and would recommend others to give it a try.

We had a smooth checkin at the hotel.

All the staffs were lovely. The rooms were cleaned by Dhan and they were comfortable. Temba at the reception was also very good and didn’t have any problems changing our room to the ground floor, upon our request.

Nice staff but the building is tired. Our first room had wet carpets, second room hadn't been made yet and the third room was well past refurb stage and did stink a bit. Honestly don't go here pay a few more pounds and stop at a more modern Travelodge or Premier Inn.

We traveled as a family holiday and bummed into this Travelodge for a night after long drive and after the service they provide, we decided to extended for extra night and explore around. Temba and Siobhan was always there for us anything we need. Top class service. Although I am not from this country but them made me feel like welcoming and definitely come back again.

Dirty room and bathroom. Sticky desk. Room smelt like disinfectant. Depressing experience. Staff at front desk were helpful but you could tell they knew what you were thinking... you're staying there because you have to. At 80 quid for a night I thought it was bad value too.

The hotel was clean on entering, staff very polite and helpful with advice regarding booking which was reasonably priced. The room was lovely (family room) was fresh/clean. Bed comfortable and no noise heard from other guests or outside.

The rooms that I have stayed in are always extremely clean and attention to detail is amazing. Even when staying an extra week the staff, on their own accord, moved my food and personal things into the next room. I'm not sure of all the staff names but Karen and Siobhan (or chevaunne) have been so friendly and I feel like they will always go the extra mile for the customer... Thanks for an amazing stay!!!

Booked a double room. Got allocated a twin. When I asked to be changed, receptionist "ah, yeah, sorry, we haven't got any more doubles'. Inclined to disbelieve as the car park (at 8pm) is pretty much empty. No pillows on the beds either... like .... REALLY???

Went to buy a drink and snack from vending machine to discover "Card Payments not accepted, Cash only". No cash on me.

Bloody awful. Booked this on basis that it was 'refurbished'. Toilet to close to wall, really poor design. TV is tiny by usual hotel standards,

Sorry Travelodge. Premier Inn all the way even if I have to drive an extra 30 miles.

Room Tip: Don't book if youve ever been to a Premier Inn. You'll be sorely disappointed.
