Was checked in another hotel locally, but it was so bad, that I couldn’t stay there, so found this, less than a mile away.
It was great.
It was originally a student Accomodation, but has been converted to a trendy, budget hotel.
It is bright, clean, friendly, budget Accomodation.
You can either use the shared kitchen facilities on each floor, to prepare your own meals, or use the dining area in the adjoining hotel. There are also drinks, cakes, snacks etc available in the café type areas of the hotel.
Parking is free.
The room was fairly small, but had a double bed, work area, clothes hanging space and an immaculate en-suite bathroom.
The only negative I can say, is that the mattress was a little hard for me personally.
Would highly recommend for a budget hotel and I will stay there again

My Husband and I stayed for one night as we were attending a function in Sheffield. The rooms and the beds are quite small, however as we were only using it as a place to sleep for one night it was no issue at all. On arrival all of the parking spots were gone so we had to park on the road. We didn’t hear any noise from the Campus during the night as reported in other reviews.
The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are en-suite, the beds are comfortable. You get a free coffee and fresh pastry included in your room rate. For the price that we paid we’re really happy, this place is great value for money and is a really good base for a night in Sheffield.

Positives - clean, in a nice area 10 mins from ecclesall road, staff were nice and at 60 on a Saturday night including coffee and pastry in the morning fair price. Free parking

Negatives - very basic like a student dorm and small. Tiny bed, no kettle, one towel for 2 of us. TV remote didn't work.

Ok if you don't mind basic accommodation, not as good as the big chains but if you need something in this area of Sheffield it does the job. It's a bit of a climb from the restaurants etc - which goes with the area

Excellent value, room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the croissant and tea at breakfast. We only needed somewhere to rest our head and this was perfect! Location was a little outside city but nice and quiet and took about 10 mins in an uber and cost about 7 pounds. Hotels in City were more than double the price.

Stayed at the Jonas one night to attend a gig. Room is basically just a small student accommodation room but bed is comfy and TV works well, as well as there being free wifi! The room was very clean so can’t complain there.

No air con or fan, which made the room unbearably hot in July. Can only open the window so far (understandable but you couldn’t even get a finger outside!) so it was absolutely boiling with no fresh air.

We had no soap, shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, and the room itself lacked hotel basics such as a kettle, iron etc. There was also no cups, which would’ve been helpful for drinking water considering the heat.

Parking is sparse although advertised as being available, and we had to park outside of the property on the main road where it’s free.

Got a pastry and hot drink for breakfast included which was a nice treat on the morning.

Overall it was okay for the cheap price that we paid, and the last minute booking that took place. I would stay here again if it was just myself travelling, as room is tiny and there’s not enough storage space for two adults. Also I think if we stayed another hot sleepless night there as a two, we would’ve melted into the bed.

The hotel was exactly as described plain and simple. Value for money However I have never had such a bad nights sleep in a hotel ever. I would say never let them put you in 2.22. It is right over the entrance so every one who came in woke me as I dropped off. The doors downstairs have no quiet close so they all banged loudly. People came in up to 3.30am. There is zero sound proofing in the rooms I could hear everyone talking using the bathroom and even being intimate! When I finally dropped off the deliveries started at about 4.30am so van doors opening and closing trolleys being wheeled into the hotel and back. So that was the end of my sleep. I almost went into my car I’m sure I would have had a better sleep! Sad when the sister hotel Halifax hall is so nice.

Small but perfectly formed, well thought out, even though the rooms are small there's almost everything you need. Plenty of towels and desk space, comfy bed, nooks for storage space, decent shower and bathroom, clean, friendly and chilled staff. Fantastic quality pastry and coffee in the morn. Parking all around even if you don't fit directly outside.
Plenty of towels (unlike someone previously said). USB points and enough plug sockets plus working TV.
No kettle etc so take own or beakers for water/own drinks.
If hot bring own fan.

Basic, welcoming clean and perfect.
Lovely view across the City.
Pleasant room. Quiet and comfortable. Helpful reception staff.
It is more of a high end Hostel than a Hotel but none the worse for it as this makes it affordable and reasonable for an overnight stay in a City centre. Breakfast limited and very basic coffee chocolate croissant but it was OK. Better than nothing. No facilities to make tea or coffee in your room but later checkout is a bonus as there are cafes and coffee shops on walking distance. Very much in the heart student area but we very much enjoyed it and would happily recommend and return again 😀.

Great no problems! Budget hotel, clean and comfortable for one night I would definitely stay again! Croissant and coffee the next day was a nice touch. Found the staff very helpful. Bed perhaps a little small for a couple. Would suggest they could develop a few “standard plus” rooms, bigger room, bigger bed, coffee making facilities.

I would definitely stay again.

Booked a night to stay here, only to find out I unfortunately got COVID at the last minute. I called the hotel to let them know these unfortunate circumstances and they have absolutely NO COMPASSION at all, I asked for my money back since I physically couldn’t get down there and they didn’t care at all, they just wanted their money! Absolutely greedy! I even asked to possibly change the booking to another date and nope, still nothing. Next time you could try being a decent human being since the situation was out my control.
