This was very bad hotel honestly the worst hotel I stayed at , is not cheap at all , didn’t have windows felt like am in prison , the toilets door you can see it clearly through, which it makes it a bit uncomfortable, the room wasn’t big enough for two people, and we booked it for double bed each and we didn’t get that , no table in the room to put your stuff on , honestly like prison , very very poor quality and very expensive hotel, don’t recommend it at all 👎

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. When making your booking you are provided with the option of booking a room with a window or a room without a window, if you got a room without window then this is what you had booked. The bathroom doors are frosted glass doors for privacy when using the bathroom, before booking you are provided with pictures of this. We do not offer rooms with 2 doubles beds in them, we offer a double room which is 1 double bed, family rooms which have a double bed and a single bed & twin rooms which have 2 single beds. This information is also displayed for you to see before making your booking. You are provided with every detail you will need to know about the rooms before booking, this includes the exact room sizes. There is a list of facilities that we offer, a table is not one of them. Very comfy stay, as I've come to expect from this chain. Well-run and quiet, even on a Saturday night! Very well placed for coach station and shopping area. Simone sorted out a little issue for me. What a star! This young lady is a real credit to EasyHotel.

This was booked ‘blind’ for me on a two day business trip. Not that cheap at around £120. It was clean, quiet and the staff were smashing … but It was genuinely like being in a prison cell! No windows, no mirror in the bathroom, no surface to put laptop on, no breakfast option, no carpets, no hot water, no refund for checking out early because of the poor space. I have never ever not stayed in a hotel anywhere in the world that I couldn’t stay the second night. This was my first! Yes it’s budget but not worth the three stars it’s given. I’ve stayed in better bunk houses in remote wilderness. Big fail. Not recommended at any level.

You get what you pay for with an easy hotel which is basic but fine and there is no problem with that. We had a room with a window but I didn’t realise it couldn’t open so it was quite uncomfortably hot (given the room size and poor air con). Also we tried multiple times to contact reception prior to our trip to ask about discounted park, yet there was no answer each time. That said on arrival the receptionist was very friendly especially to say she was dealing with a less than friendly “customer”

We popped in late of Friday to ask if any rooms after an awful Experience at the hotel we had booked! We were met by Symone, she was so lovely and kind offered us reassurance and helped us book a room online and after booking also provided parking discount locally. Room was clean and the air con on this very hot weekend was lost welcome. Extra pillows provided when requested and Symone was quick to sort out TV remote that wasn’t working. The nice cold water in reception was a treat. We had a good stay and felt safe Thank-you

Quick cheap stop off, no frills. can't go wrong for the price. Ask for more pillows though. they are thin and one is not quite enough! but at £39 for a bed and shower you can't complain. Used this chain a few times over the years when needing just somewhere to sleep after a night out.

Service was terrible from get go, paid £164 for a family room and early check in, room wasn’t ready then offered me a twin room for me and my friend as alternative and couldn’t advise what the difference was at the time. We were due at 90s and wanted to get there so was told they would sort the refund next day. Came to leaving on the Sunday and the refund still wasn’t sorted. Rang again today and told me I would get back £31 for a box room they offered me over a family room. If id have known id have told them to shove it! Absolute joke of a hotel, poor rooms like prison cells and really over priced. I booked well in advance in April for this shambles. Stay well clear!

Dear Garry, Thank you for taking your time to leave us a review after your recent stay at easyHotel Sheffield. First of all please accept our sincerest apologies for all the issues we could caused. On Saturday 5th August you came to check in at 12:15pm as you had a booking with us and you paid for an early check service. Unfortunately, due to the occupancy the night before, we were not been able to give your family room without window at that time. However, one of our staff members offered to you a different room type (Twin room with Window) that was available at that time, as you were in a hurry to check in to go to 90s fest. You agreed with this change on your room type, as one of your friends finally was not able to come, so you didn't have any problem with a twin room, and our staff member informed you that she was going to refund you the difference between the room you booked and the room you checked in. As I can see on our CCTV you went into your room and when you were leaving the hotel to the festival, you had a friendly conversation with our staff members. On Sunday morning our Assistant Manager proceeded with the refund and informed you that you would receive your money back between 3-5 working days, depending on your bank. With all above, one more time please accept our apologies for all the issues we could caused and if you need further information do not hesitate to contact us. Paid £123 for a room that was a size of a box no window and a double bed that was 100% not a double one pillow and one towel this room was meant to be a standard table for me and my friend it didn’t have a window in the room which we knew when booking but didn’t realise it would look like a prison cell you could hardly more the bed was so uncomfortable the walls are so thin you can hear everybody in the other rooms, no phone in the room no tea no coffe no wardrobe no bedside tables wouldn’t of minded if I spent £50 max but £123 for one night is day light robbery i emailed to complain and the customer service was just so passive aggressive, sarcastic and rude they need training

After checking your booking I can see that you booked a Double Room Without Window, checking in on 5th August 2023 and checking out on 6th August 2023 through Booking.com. During your booking process you can see all our different rooms, rates and features of our rooms (size, facilities, pictures...), and then you can book the room which fit with your needs; unfortunately our rates are not flat and it changes everyday depending on many factors. All of our double beds are the UK standard size of 4'6" x 6'3" and are made up with 1 duvet and 2 pillows for arrival. We are a budget-friendly hotel chain that offers clean, comfortable and convenient low-carbon accommodation with the emphasis on 'making the city yours' meaning that we offer a basic space to rest whilst you explore what the city has to offer. To maintain sustainability 1 towel is left in the room. In the event the room is occupied by more than 1 guest, we usually give you additional towel to take to the room with you upon check in, I apologies if this was not the case upon your check in. Regarding to the amenities you missed, as we mentioned before, during your booking process you can see all the features of our rooms, and following the company's strategy, we do not offer coffee and tea facilities in our rooms. However, you can find a coffee machine at reception with many different types of hot drinks available 24 hours/day.
