Team Ice Gems Juvenile skating team arrived en masse from Nottingham in a most excitable state, very hungry after a 4am start and 6am practice. Staff were friendly, helpful, patient and accomodating, which was greatly appreciated. Thank-you to Matthew in particular for offering a touch of human kindness in the mele.

We visited here on a Friday night for a bargain £37 including the free parking on site.
This hotel appears to have the new upgraded rooms but we didn’t stay in one of those. After asking for a quiet room we were placed on the top floor further down the corridor and barely heard a sound when in the room. There is air con and a partially opening window in the rooms so that helped keep it at a good temperature. Check in at 4pm was friendly and we had pre booked breakfast for 9am (which was needed as it was rather busy)

It felt a very normal visit now that masks etc are not required but hand sanitizer was available and one way systems in place in the restaurant.
The buffet breakfast was excellent, regularly replenished and fresh and still good value at £9.50 per person.

Stayed here for 4 nights while grandson was taking part in an Ice Hockey Camp at Ice Sheffield just across the road. Also good for the Utilita Arena. Car parking free as long as you register your car. Staff very friendly, helpful and professional, all worked really well together and most versatile too, one member staff could be seen to be serving breakfast, attending the reception desk and also cleaning the reception and lift area on separate occasions. Duty manager Ashley was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style with scrambled eggs cooked to order, and buffet was well stoked too. Although rooms are not cleaned daily due to changes since the start of the pandemic the staff were always on hand to provide assistance, a top up of tea bags and milk, clean towels etc and if cleaning was available if you requested it. Definitely would be my preferred choice of location for that part of Sheffield as the Valley Centertainment was also within easy walking distance.

The staff were lovely, especially at breakfast, when I asked for gluten free toast one of the waitresses said straight away that she’d get me a list with all ingredients on. I only wanted fruit salad and some toast, one of the chefs cooked this for me so it wasn’t contaminated and brought it to our table. I really appreciated this.

Unfortunately it was the room that let everything down, we had the window wide open and the fan on as cold as possible, but it was still so hot. There also wasn’t a fan in the bathroom, by the time four of us had showers in the morning it was like a steam room!

The location for the arena is brilliant and even with the problems had, we’ve booked again for next year, purely for convince and keeping everything crossed that the sauna and steam room was a one off.

We stayed at the Premier Inn after attending a concert at Sheffield Arena. We had a fantastic stay - the room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. Dinner was great (the sweet potato, spinach and feta lasagne was absolutely delicious) and the restaurant prices are very reasonable. Breakfast was freshly prepared, all items were plentiful, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. Great valiue for money and I would definitelty recommend this Premier Inn to others.

We arrived and staff were friendly, we did the eggs in the jar competition for Great Ormand street and got it right my little girl was delighted and staff were excited for her to. 2 beds were not made up but within 10 mins this was sorted. We had dbb deal. Pizza was nice fish and chips to 1st night was not that busy staff very attentive

Breakfast was hot and tasty decent deal dinner that night we upgrade the package to steak and a mixed girl both very nice kids had small meals of childrens menu these are small and I would say for 8 and under but they had eaten all day so were not hungry Bit of a gripe was there was a special pudding on which was just an easter sundae same price as a chocolate one on the menu but we were not allowed to change so we had disappointed kids . Anyway we moved on from that.

Perfect location for ice arena and ice Sheffield and for those hockey players puck stop 2 mins walk 30 mins walk to a massive shopping centre where you will lose yourself for hours.

Our stay was pleasant and I definitely would return again

Only down side would be menu is not large so limited after one or 2 meals there but plenty of place to eat within 5 mins drive or 25 mins walk

It suited us to eat there both nights as we were unsure of the area and with kids it was an easy option. I was not disappointed.

We usually stay in Premier Inns - on this occasion we were allocated a newly renovated room, including the mattress. Formally the biggest attraction of Premier Inns was the comfort of the Bed.Me and my Wife found the 'new' mattress' nowhere as comfortable as the original ones and led to both of us having backache in the morning.

Hello Norman, Thank you for your recent review. I do apologise that on this occasion of your stay you felt that the mattress wasn't as comfortable which led to you and your wife having a bad back. At Premier Inn, we strive to make sure our guests have a good night sleep but sadly we didn't on this occassion. I can assure you that all our mattresses are fairly new and do get turned over every 3 months to ensure it provides the best comfort for our guests and any time we do feel that they aren't to our usual standard we have them replaced. We will make sure to look into this for you so when you do stay with us again, we will be sure that you will have a great nights sleep. I hope this doesn't deter you from staying with us in the future and we hope we get to welcome you back soon. Kind Regards, Ameena Hussain Duty Manager

We stayed in this hotel for one night in a weekend. I would say we received a 5 STAR service in this high end budget hotel.

The rate was very competitive. Free parking was a bonus. The hotel is in a very convenient location. There were plenty of parking spaces. The receptionist was very helpful and helpful. Checking process was smooth. The place is fully Covid secure. There were ample amount of hand sanitizers.

The room and the amenities were as expected in the Premier Group of hotels. Clean, adequately spacious. The temp control and AC was fully operational. There were limited supply of tea and coffee sachets,I think to reduce the risk of infection, however when requested the receptionist provided us a good supply. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. There were more than adequate towels.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was Covid secure with one way system. we have had Buffet Premier Breakfasts in the past, yet this time it was made to order due to Covid restrictions. It was of very good quality.

The most notable service we received was over the expectations. I have left my smart watch the bedroom which I remembered only after we returned home. I promptly called the reception and also e mailed the hotel. The receptionist, sadly I cannot remember her name, was very helpful. She told us due to Covid restrictions she and the estates team cannot enter the bedroom for designated time after guests vacated the room due to Covid safety measures adding she would ask the staff next day to look out for my watch. I also received a prompt response to my e mail from Ameena Hussain, the duty manger. The watch was found by the room service staff and was handed over, and subsequently posted to my by recorded delivery. Throughout the process , Ameena kept me informed.

I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We paid £88 for a night here which included 2 cooked breakfast buffets. We went to an event at the Sheffield arena and it was a perfect place to stay. 5 mins walk to get there.
The room was ready a bit early, was clean and comfortable with decent air con that you can control easily. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was run by Hilda and Paul who were friendly, welcoming and attentive. They didn't stop running around during breakfast so deserve a shout out. All staff were very helpful throughout.

Visiting Sheffield for an indoor pentathlon event, we were very pleased to find suitable accommodation so close to the sports complex.
The reception area was rather cramped and off-putting, but the hotel staff were pleasant and obliging and the rooms were of the usual very good Premier Inn standard. We were in a rather rundown suburb of the city called Attercliffe, but our hotel was like an oasis from the busy road and outside noise.
In the evening we were allowed to play cards in the bar/restaurant area and as the athletics event overran, one of our party opted to check in for a second night and almost had the hotel to himself (a week before lockdown). Although breakfast was limited because of the circumstances, there was still plenty to enjoy and check-out was easy and efficient.
