We stayed at the Norfolk Alms for two nights. What a lovely hotel. The location is stunning and so well placed for trips to Derbyshire whether driving or walking. The surrounding countryside is amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. You really feel at home. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and...

Called in for a drink at 5.15. Peak ales bitter excellent, but no quality draught lager for my wife. Just Coors, Carlsberg, Peroni, all devoid of any taste. Bottled Stancill lager is good. Decided to eat, but gave up after waiting for 15 min for anyone to take our order. Once a busy pub, but interesting to see no one...

We called in while on a walk this morning and the staff where extremely helpful they brought our drinks over. The bar was extremely clean, staff were wiping the legs of the chairs. The wood burner provided a warm welcome on a cold morning .

We were visiting Sheffield as an aunt that was sadly in hospital. This was in a convenient location which appealed from the photo's and info. We were not disappointed, the room was comfy, large and had all the facilities we required. Friendly and helpful staff, Hubby had a great choice of beers. Food ordered for the evening meal was fabulous,...

Called in for lunch after a walk. Good choice on the menus. Smaller portions of main meals plus mains and jackets sandwiches etc. And what looked like delicious cake too. Children's menu available. Our club sandwiches were huge and chips with it very tasty. Toilets spotless too. Overall very nice lunch especially with the open fire and log burner. Will...

A really warm welcome from all the staff. Our meal was delicious and the portions more than generous. A really relaxing stay in glorious countryside. A...

We booked the Norfolk Arms for an overnight stay while we spent some time in the Peak District. We had a room away from the hotel in a small annex of rooms behind the main building. The view from the small rear window was across the Peaks. The room was a little on the smaller side but had everything we...

We came for a group Christmas party in December. We had the back room that was nicely decorated with plenty of space for our party. We often come every year as the venue has enough space for us. The food was lovely, I had pate then beef brisket (awesome). All our table we're happy with the food. The bar has...

Stayed for two nights. Accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable. Food was first class for a pub. Homemade and you certainly won't go hungry. Great selection of whiskeys (around 100 i think) and a good selectionof ales that are well kept. Would highly recommend 😊

Good location and superior pub food. Excellent fish pie for example. Great ambiance and pleasant service. This pub works because it majors on what it is good at - good value food in decent portions, well cooked. Would definitely return if in the area.
