Amazing oldy worldy pub, slightly off the beaten track. Our host Mark was delightful, attentive and courteous. The food surpassed our expectations. The menu was exciting, and the specials even more so. Everything was home made, the portions ample, and deliciously cooked. We can highly recommend the Whitebait, Fish Pie, and Lemon Sole. Ludlow offers many choices, eatery wise, but...

So glad we stayed here. Great staff, great food lovely room and the landlord was extremely good to us. The night we stayed, there was live music, which was very enjoyable. We would certainly stay again and we would recommend to anyone.

Went here for meal out with family & for the live music. All 8 of us agreed that the atmosphere was great & the food was delicious & great value for money. The waitress did a great job for someone new to the job & will be even better after more experience but she was really pleasant and attentive. The...

This was our second visit to Ludlow and The Wheatsheaf which did not disappoint - the pub was busy with xmas parties and the landlord and staff were welcoming friendly making sure our party of four was not ignored. Great atmosphere with great entertainment. Whitebait and confit duck was amazing well worth a visit.

Have not been for a while but was not disappointed. Very old and traditional, full of character and roaring log fires. Very friendly publican, and food very good indeed. Congrats to chef. Would definitely go again and recommend a visit.

First time we have stayed at the wheatsheaf, been there a couple of years ago for a drink. Have to say that the pub didn't seem quite as nice I remember it. There is a lovely large fire facing the entrance , I remember having a great afternoon sitting in front of it on my last visit, so was disappointed...

We have been visiting the wheatsheaf a for almost 15 years and stayed 3 times in the accommodation, last time around 5 years ago. During that time there has been many changes of hands and each time the quality and service deteriorates, what doesn't change is the decor - none of the owners have so much as repainted in all...
