We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hambrook House. An excellent location for touring the area. Charlotte and the team were very welcoming. I enjoyed browsing the library! In contrast to a previous review, our room was comfortably warm and we turned the heating down to sleep. The walk into town is very pleasant - slightly hilly, so may deter anyone with poor mobility, but we enjoyed the views of the river. I have already recommended Hambrook House to friends.
Excellent service, communication, presentation and very enjoyable stay. Booked 3 rooms for one night. Rooms were beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Bathrooms were immaculate and very nicely finished. Plenty of private parking at the front for the cars. Host and staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious and served on crisp white table cloths with proper cutlery. I absolutely would not hesitate to book here again and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
We stayed here this weekend as my Son plays for Shrewsbury Town and we needed to be local all weekend. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautiful spotless house and it was just what we needed after a very hectic weekend of football. The family are very friendly and nothing seems to much trouble. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms and grounds are absolutely spotless. I’d definitely stay here again and I’ll be recommending to friends and family
Great hotel. Excellent location. Lovely host. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Room a bit cold. Very enjoyable stay. Loved Shrewsbury. So much to see and do. Ate at the Boathouse and Cote and had drinks at the Blind tiger. All excellent
We stayed one night at Hambrook House as part of our weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our stay was perfect. The bedroom was large, light and airy and very clean. Breakfast was very nice and set us up for a day exploring Shrewsbury. The owners and staff of Hambrook House were lovely and could not have been more helpfu. Location of the hotel is a perfect 10 minute walk into the town centre. If we stay in Shrewsbury again there will only be one hotel we shall stay in - Hambrook House.
