We booked to see a show at Theatre Severn and decided to stay in Shewsbury for the night. This hotel has a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the theatre. The car park is free and the lady on reception really pleasant and helpful. Our room (206) was nice, much better than I expected. There are some lovely...

We were staying one night and arrived at 12, too early to check in but we were allowed to register the car and leave it there. We had a wander round the town, which is on the Hotel's doorstep, and headed back later to check in. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was great. Small, but clean and looked...

Large first floor room overlooking the Mardol Road junction. Room large and comfortable, although the en-suite was a little on the small side. Reception/Check-in not particularly well signposted, but bar staff happy to give directions. Service generally good. Hotel food served in public bar area on ground floor. Decent menu with good prices and well cooked.

We booked this hotel at the last minute, and I'll admit we only tried it out because it was much cheaper than the Premier Inn that night. It''s the first time we've stayed in a Whetherspoon hotel and it was really good. Our room was spacious with a massive bed, very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming....

This hotel is in the ideal location, Situated opposite the riverside which offers a relaxing atmosphere. I was worried as it was near a busy road, however there were no issues with this what so ever, in fact I never heard any vehicles. It is also a walk from the city centre which made our stay very easy. The hotel...
