Nice clean pub. Staff (early doors) were friendly. We stayed on a Friday for only £60. The person on the phone, when we booked, didn’t explain that the room came with a FREE Grateful Dead Concert LIVE!!!! Don’t even think about booking rooms with low numbers, unless: 1) You’re

I just returned from a night in Shrewsbury. For a change from our normal routine, we looked on late rooms, finding a beautiful looking pub offering bed & breakfast . We were happy with what we saw, not looking at reviews we booked. The reception was good, very nice friendly

Set slap bang in the centre of town, friendly staff, great service, room nice, clean and quiet, breakfast available as an add-on and was delicious. Really happy with our stay - it didn't cost a lot (£60 for a double en-suite, with breakfast) and due to its location was

We have been past this pub dozens of times when we have visited Shrewsbury but this was the first time we have eaten here. It is conveniently sited to the main shopping area. Will certainly visit again if we want lunch in the town and are in the area

Hi, could you tell me where would be the best place to park overnight? Cheers
Hi, there's a public car park on Wyle Cop, on the left hand side of the road, going towards the Abbey. You can drive up Butcher Row to drop off your bags then go and park in The car park. The postcode for the car park is SY1 1XE and it costs £7.50 for 24 hours.

Are there rooms in quiet areas?
My room when I stayed was so quite for a town centre above a pub I've stayed in a hotel around the corner but I'd rather stay at the bull now! Happy travels

Is this a suitable place for children to stay. ?
Not sure. It is in the centre of Shrewsbury so good location but it is a pub. A very nice pub but could be noises I think until the last man leaves. I didn't see any families booking in it was mostly couples. Perhaps worth giving them a call. Sorry I can't be more helpful
