Booked a bargain priced two nights here for shows at the Komedia and theatre, for which the location was perfect. Had to do a whole lap of the block to find the door as we headed for the biggest sign and that was not above the door. Commented to each other after checking in that

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that your stay was enhanced by the location of the Hotel, and you felt this was of good value. We're pleased to hear that you found the Reception Team to be friendly and welcoming. We aim to extend a warm welcome and a pleasant first impression to our guest's upon their arrival at the Hotel and throughout their stay, and we are pleased that this was demonstrated to you. Please be assured that your allocated room was of standard size for our double rooms - it is our family rooms that are larger, to accommodate for the extra bed and guests. Being a budget Hotel brand, we believe that we provide all the necessary facilities to ensure a comfortable stay, for value. However, we apologise for any discomfort caused due to the lack of space in your room. In such instances we would kindly advise raising this with the Hotel Team on site, so that they can offer to move you to an alternative room and ensure you a more comfortable stay. Thank you again for your comments, we hope to welcome you back to stay with us again in the near future.

Nice Travelodge in a great location. Very clean as most are. Staff very friendly . You have to go to level 1 for reception and rooms but there is a lift. Lovely City. Was only there one night as was visiting the University. Great places to eat.

Thank you for your review. We're delighted to hear that your stay was enhanced by the location of the Hotel, and you found your room to be spacious, well equipped and clean. We are also pleased to note that the Team were able to make your stay more enjoyable. We offer our customers 30 minutes free WiFi per day within our hotels. Not all guest's require WiFi and due to being a budget brand, we are able to keep the price of our rooms as low as we can by offering extras such as WiFi for a small, additional price. We do also charge a £10.00 fee for early check in and must remain consistent with this. We apologise for any disappointment. Thank you again for your review, we hope to welcome you back to stay with us again in the near future.

Travelodge will never be the height of luxury and decadence; but this hotel gave me a warm welcome and departure as well as a room precisely as described. What more can you ask of a budget chain. Parking felt a long way away, but actually wasn't if you cut through the college
