We went to Bath for a surprise present for my husband. The inn was very nicely decorated. Keeping the beams and thick stone block walls. Very comfortable room although our daughter was in a room at the front was very noisy. Could be because of Christmas deliveries. The best cooked breakfast ever with perfect poached eggs and locally sourced bacon,...

I stayed at the Griffin Inn with my daughter on a recent trip to Bath. We found the staff to be extremely welcoming and helpful - we left our bags early and found them already taken to our rooms by the time we returned from the Xmas market. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the meals we ate...

Stumbled across this place whilst escaping the bustle of the Christmas Market. Perfect place to sit and relax with a couple of beers before setting off again. Staff all very friendly and a good selection of both ale and lager. Much recommended!!!

Very nice atmosphere and the staff were very quick with service. A very good selection of ales including some very nice ELECTRIC BEAR - Persuasion and LEFT HANDED GIANT BREWING CO - USPA. It's obvious that the ales are very well kept!

A nice comfortable and clean Inn, the staff are most helpfull, perhaps not the best place if you have mobility issues as the Inn is a very old building with narrow, steep stairs. If you are a real ale liker, this is the place for you as there are 18 ales available. Beakfasts are adaptable to you preference. The Abby...

Our room was at the top of a steep winding staircase but very comfortable with a large bed and powerful shower. Free wifi. Excellent breakfast using locally sourced organic ingredients. Very handy location from which to explore Bath on foot. The only drawback was needing to park in a long stay carpark a few minutes walk from the Inn. On...

As typical for small B&Bs, people there (even the locals in the bar) are very friendly and warm. The room I stayed in was quite spacious too. This inn is even better that it's within 10 minutes walk from almost all Bath attractions, so you never have to be in a hurry for anything. Ah yes, and they bake GOOD...

We arrived to a warm welcome to The Griffin on a busy afternoon in Bath. Upon entry to the pub after having closed the door to the street, we were met by an oasis of calm, almost tranquillity compared to Bath during half-term week. Immediate impressions were that the recently-refurbished pub had a smart, clean, relaxed, modern feel to it...

Stayed one night in the orchard room which had a single bed with external bath (basically still private use). The room itself was cute and compact and surprisingly spacious for one. Window was great in letting natural light in and some fresh air as well. It did slope down slightly but wasn't an issue. The bed and pillows were clean...
