The Kennard is a Boutique Bed & Breakfast, on Henrietta Street, in the centre of Bath. It was built in 1794, the golden age of Bath's Georgian elegance. The Kennard offers twelve recently re-furbished and individually decorated rooms over five floors. Most of Bath's iconic tourist attractions - The Roman Baths, The Bath Abbey, The Bath Thermae Spa are all a short walk away. Within walking distance are also some of the best restaurants and shopping venues Bath has to offer. We hope you will visit us and enjoy the experience of staying in one of Bath's original Georgian townhouses with service and accommodation that truly reflects this beautiful city’s social history and culture.

My sister from New Zealand and I had a most comfrortable 2 nights in this superb small hotel. The family who own and manage it could not have been more helpful with parking and sightseeing. Our room was just delightful with a view over a garden planted in ageorgian style.

Thank you so much for this very detailed review! It is wonderful to hear that you had such a marvellous time at The Kennard and appreciated the attention to detail. The Kennard was built in 1794, the golden age of Bath's Georgian elegance, as a lodging house to provide accommodation for those coming to spend the season in this delightful city. To complement the Georgian style each of the twelve bedrooms are individually decorated and furnished with a fresh yet classic design. Each room has its own charm and we find that returning guests tend to have their favorite. The garden is a popular spot particularly during the summer months, it's the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing drink after a day out in Bath. Guests will find the Honesty Bar located on the first floor which means guest can help themselves to a drink, at a nominal cost, at any time! Everything is walkable in Bath. We are located on Henrietta Street, which is a quiet residential street and walking distance from Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths, Pulteney Bridge, Victoria Art Gallery, Holburne Museum and some of the best restaurants and shopping venues. On your arrival at The Kennard, we will provide you with a complimentary parking permit that allows you to park in Zone 1, which are streets around The Kennard. There are approximately 600 parking spots covered by the permit. However on rugby match days, we highly recommend, arriving as early as you can or travelling to Bath on the train. The train station is a 10-12 minute walk to The Kennard. We very much hope to welcome you back to Bath in the near future! Kind regards

do you provide a shuttle from bristol airport?
Dear Maria Unfortunately we do not provide a shuttle service from Bristol Airport. You may elect to take the Air Decker bus service which normally costs around £14.00 and the trip takes an hour, or you may elect to come to Bath by Taxi which normally costs $40 and takes about 40 minutes. Kind regards, Priya
