The Hotel was clean and tidy, the food was well presented, tasty, with a good range of dishes. The staff were polite and willing to do anything to accomodate your requests. The gardens were very pleasant and restful being situated away from the main road. The Hotel was on a very steep hill and although there were buses into town...

I must say that it is with a heavy heart that I first read your review, roger1944.It became immediately clear to me that you posted this review on arrival and before raising your concern regarding the heating with any staff member as such not allowing us to rectify any of your concerns. Having stayed here with my girlfriend for a recent long weekend. The hotel looks amazing from the outside and is in keeping with the buildings of Bath. We were politely greeted by reception and was passed a very handy map of the area and was explained to us where locations of historic buildings were. All staff in general were always...

Stayed for one night whilst visiting Bath. We found the location excellent as we could approach it from the "top end" of Bath rather than struggle with town centre traffic, we walked into town, both ways, in the evening and again the following day. The 'hike' back up the steep Lansdown Road is not for the less able, however. We...

We found the Lansdown to be quirky and a fine place to stay the night. We recommend it! In the midst of our family's tour of England, we spent a night here just a short distance north of the Bath city center. I'll pause here to say that we HIGHLY recommend a visit to Bath, and wished that we had...
