I stayed here for a job interview and the whole process from start to finish was first class. Sue, the owner, contacted me in advance to confirm arrangements and was very welcoming when I arrived at 10pm. The room and facilities were excellent.

The hotel has a great position just outside the centre of Bath with wonderful views. It takes around 25 minutes to walk in along the canal or a five minute taxi ride. The room we had (Bronte) was very comfortable if a bit small, but made up for by the view. The owner is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The...

This was my first stay at this hotel - the result of a recommendation from a colleague. I found the hotel to be a really very pleasant surprise - a combination of modern facilities, tasteful decorations and furnishings (including some nice antiques) and a Proprietor (Sue) and Hotel Manager (Dalila) who could not have been helpful. My room was of...

Dear Tasburgh House, You asked for an honest review, here it is: The positives - very friendly reception staff; good quality continental breakfast; well-attended by breakfast staff; nice views from the patio, very nice touch with card and champagne for my husband's birthday. The negatives - too expensive for the room (more like an upmarket B&B than a hotel); we...

A really lovely hotel with lots of attention to detail making you feel really welcome. Sue and the staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given loads of useful information including maps and directions to get into town and our evening meal and transport into town was all booked for us. The room was spacious...

Lovely hotel. Beautiful surroundings. Sue and her team couldn't do anymore for us. We got engaged in bath and stayed here, my fiancé loved staying here and loved the way she was treated. She felt like royalty. If we return to Bath, we will undoubtably be staying here! Sue, thanks again.

What a wonderful relaxing long weekend. The first time 'away from the children' for 5 years meant that we needed somewhere a bit 'special' that we could unwind. The hotel is beautifully prepared by Susan and her staff - no item is out of place - she has a wonderful eye for every detail. The staff are wonderfully attentive making...

We arrived very early to eave the car so that we could get a full day in Bath. The owner apologised that she could not do all the check in procedures as she was cooking breakfast for the people who stayed overnight. This was not a problem, as we only wanted to advise that we had left the car in...

This hotel/guest house is very big and spacious all the rooms are named after a famous writer. We had Dickens and Hardy rooms. All the rooms have specially designed teddybear dressed in the authors favourite clothing which are specially made for the Bears. Which I thought was a wonderful idea by Sue the owner. If I wanted the heating turned...

We booked 3 rooms for an Office Christmas do in Bath and stayed at Tasburgh House for a couple of nights - brilliant place and we would go back again! Sue and the team managed to make our stay special and were very responsive to our request (bottle of champagne in the evening) and suggested great places for diner!
