We visited for 3 days and chose Oldfields due to its convenient location within an easy walk of the town as we knew everywhere would be busy with the market. We were not disappointed the house truly lived up to previous reviews and photos and we had a lovely spacious room. All of the staff were friendly and made you... More

I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here! The receptionist was lovely and couldn't do enough for you. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was delicious too. I will definitely be returning!!

Stayed for a couple of nights for the Christmas Markets. Staff lovely, bedroom very nice and breakfast cooked to ordered and excellent. Only downside car park tight and my sisters car had a slight scrape but not the hotels fault, just a shame the person who did it didn't have the decency to own up to it. Apart from that... More

This is a smart B&B within easy walking distance of Bath city centre. Situated on a hill just south of the river and close to bear flat where there are plenty of places to eat in the evening. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well presented. There is a good choice of food for breakfast including a good traditional English... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Excellent hotel. Room impeccable and staff could not do enough for you. Highlight was breakfast - one of the best I have had. Walk to city 10 minutes - downhill going and uphill back.

Only stayed for one night. Received a very warm welcome from the staff, our room was comfortable and clean (I slept very well) was in comfortable walking distance of the town centre for able bodied. Breakfast was tasty though I would have preferred a little more on my plate. Service in breakfast friendly and I felt the food was cooked... More

Stayed at Oldfields in September a beautifull victorian building, the location was great a 10 minute walk to the town centre 15 minutes on the way back as it is uphill but no real drama, very friendly staff, rooms were roomy and clean, the view from our room over looking a lovely garden, breakfast was good, free parking could be a little tight... Oldfields is very nice. Good location, parking, could be issue if you drive big 4WD or estate, but it's free. Friendly staff. Lovely Victorian building, plenty of character. Nice big comfy warm lounge. We had room ten. Superb views, balcony with table chairs too. Huge comfy bed. Plenty space and storage. Loved the Old fashioned gentlemans wardrobe. Big bath room,... Nice building, great staff, wonderful cooked breakfast and nice and quiet at night. Room decor ok. But.......Coffee stain down the wall in our room, catch on bathroom door broken, shower temperature control broken so either freezing cold or scalding hot shower! View out of ground floor was piles of broken up wood, hose reels and discarded furniture. With a closer... More

I enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room was large and quiet. It is a bit worn around the edges but comfortable. If you have a car the location is good as it has parking. It's about a .7 mile walk into town. That means it is uphill on the way back so you need to be in good physical... More
