Unbeknown to me, my wife and the excellent and attentive staff were planning the perfect stay for the pair of us in this fantastic hotel since August. On arrival we were welcomed in by David on reception. David is a thoroughly helpful bloke and has the perfect, "nothing is too much trouble", attitude. From the moment we arrived to the... More

This was our second weekend break at tha Ayrlingon in Bath and was equally as enjoyable as the first! An excellent location for the town centre and a really comfortable and friendly hotel with parking! We had the same room on both occasions which was clean comfortable and very spacious with a lovely modern shower room. Breakfast was excellent and... More

My wife and I booked one of the hotels premium rooms for a one night stay to enjoy the Bath Christmas Market. This is the second time we have stayed here and sadly the last. Parking was tight but not a real issue, the staff are polite and proffesional. My first problem was the room. Having seen the rooms online... More

Stayed the night at the Ayrlington last week. David looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Great to be able to park outside. Lovely breakfast and comfy beds. Great location to be able to walk into town.

I managed to park my car in the car park and there it stayed for the two nights, due to the easy walking distance to the town. The lounge was welcoming on arrival and a useful and comfortable meeting point. Stayed in the Victorian room. It was decorated appropriately for its theme, was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything I... More

Very nice Hotel. Visited on the wettest day in November. Could have done with a canopy/umbrella somewhere outside to protect the smokers. Room was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent. Parking was a little difficult although acheivable.

I was due to be in Bath this past Monday and had booked at The Ayrlington. Due to the weather I had been unable to get to Bath. I phoned the hotel at 8pm to inform them that, despite being at Paddington station for 4 hours, there was very little chance I was going to get to Bath so decided... More

It is never our intention to disappoint any guest, however clearly on this occasion this reviewer was quite upset about being charged for the late cancellation. However for the sake of balance we would like to point out that our cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival which is well within the industry normality. Having phoned at 8pm to... More

We were very pleasantly surprised to find ease of parking when we arrived early evening. Our room, the Range, was on the lower ground floor and was a very good size with the bathroom having both a walk in shower and a bath. The only let down was the poor lighting in the bedroom itself. As others have said it... More

Sadly only a one night stay but memorable. Excellent value for money when compared with luxury hotel chains. None of your corporate furnishings here. All rooms have individual charm. A personal welcome from the staff. Excellent breakfast with good service. A variety of quality restaurants only a short walk away in the city centre. Rooms a back have views of... More
