Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brilliant hotel. Great central location, and just round the corner from the theatre where we enjoyed a show. Very comfortable, characterful decor, lovely very helpful staff, good breakfast, freshly cooked. Also EV charging point. Can certainly recommend!

A fabulous stay at a perfect hotel. Location was great for us right in the heart of the city. We travelled with our bulldog who was welcomed, even having her own bed and bowls in the room. Communications from the hotel were excellent, check in simple, room super comfortable, breakfast delicious, can’t think of anything more to say.

Lovely hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast! Can't fault it. No lifts, but it's an old building. They stored our bags before check in, room was clean and quirky. Bathroom was small but clean and plenty of towels. Loved staying here and I'd stay again.

We had a lovely cosy stay at Harrington’s. The room was well equipped and I loved the quirky decor. The breakfast was great particularly the cooked breakfast. The location was perfect as it was so close to everything! We will definetly go back one day!

Fantastic hotel. Wonderful location and lovely room. We made use of the hot tub (you can book for an hour for £10pp) which was a really nice treat. Staff were all welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Also great breakfast -the ginger & honey shot was amazing! Great value too. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

We booked a stay at Harington’s Hotel for a couple of days to celebrate my husband’s birthday. A perfect place. Centrally located, comfortable room, sparkling clean bathroom and delightful staff. We were welcomed by a charming lady who instantly made us feel at home. The breakfast, which was included in the price of our accommodation, was so generous and delicious and set us up for the day. We would just like to say a huge thank you to everybody at Harington’s and would recommend the hotel 100%.

Stayed midweek. Location perfect - right in the heart of the City and just yards from a range of pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops, as well as the Theatre Royal. Very comfortable room on the second floor with a King size bed (or possibly larger) and neat and tidy en suite. Quiet at night. Breakfast choice excellent, all well presented and hot food nicely cooked. Staff very accomodating. Would definitely return. Paul Edwards

Great little hotel. Superb location for exploring Bath as smack bang in the middle. Countless pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. 10 mins walk from the station and even less to the likes of the Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge. Friendly people. Very homely, nothing was a problem. Would definitely stay again.
