Shared bath but it was not far from room and never ran into anyone else. Small room and a lot of stairs to climb but I was there for the location and that was perfect. No parking but the car park was not far away. I had to rely on friendly locals to figure out how to pay. ( I'd... More

Bath is such a nice place to visit its worth staying in one of the nicer more expensive hotels. That said the room was clean and tidy tiny bathroom and located very close to the town centre. Keep in mind its very close to the rugby stadium so can be very noisy on game day. Breakfast isn't on for very... More

Booked a double room in this hotel on third floor and it was terrible. Room was tiny, window looked out to a brick wall ten inches away! One very weak light hanging in a dirty shade. Shared bathroom was dirty with wood on windows rotting. Breakfast was poor and coffee was very weak instant. Staff weren't bad just apologetic as... More

Booked a single room for for a third less than anything in a similar location. The photos on Tripad and some of the comments are generally accurate There are single rooms but with a shared shower or toilet on another floor That's ok if you just need a bed for the night Receptionist very friendly & helpful unless you leave... I stayed at this Bed & Breakfast for almost a week. The rooms are spacious, functional and very clean. The hotel has an excellent location and is close to all major attractions. The reception staff is very kind and helpful. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay, this is certainly a good choice.

When we booked this place, we didn't read the fine print of sharing bathroom and toilets. When we booked it, it was not titled as a Town House Bed & Breakfast as this site does. It was a great experience since it was only for one night. Great location and very reasonable price. Had a big room with a sink.... More

Absolutely brilliant location right in the centre of the town close to the baths, the Rec and shopping centre. Reasonable for the price but it will never set the world on fire. Bath it's self is expensive which make it even more impressive. The bedroom facilities were lovely with tea/coffee and a very comfy bed. Though rooms are close there... More

We had a very comfortable large room with an excellent bed and a view of the central park, the Abbey and the Empire Hotel. This hotel is clean, provides a large tub/shower combination and a full breakfast of hot and cold cereal, muffins, toast, ham, yogurt, juices and fruit. It is located a short walk from the train station and... More

I'm seeing a lot of people having a dig at this place. Fair enough, it was a little noisy over the weekend, but what would you expect when staying in a city centre hotel? The hotel bar wasn't open to 1 AM (as has been suggested in somebody's comments) but closed at 11 PM - bang on - and I... More

Booked this hotel as close to centre of town, what it doesn't tell you is that the bar attached to the hotel, doesn't close at 11pm, but continues till 1am then the club starts. Due to the dated state of the rooms there is no chance of shutting the noise out and instead have to wait till 3am to finally... More
