Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely place in vicinity of the city centre - walking distance. We enjoyed our time in a great, comfortable room, very clean and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit.

Thank you ALL for making our stay in Bath so special. The house is really charming, welcoming and furnished with taste throughout. Our bedroom was exceptional: spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. A special mention about the breakfast, which was nicely presented, very healthy and had such a variety of options to choose from. Our cooked breakfast was the best we ever had. We both felt treated with care and attention from start to finish.

Absolutely stunning accommodation, attention to detail second to none. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were superb and nothing too much trouble. The bed was so comfortable enabling a relaxed sleep. Our room - number 4 was beautifully decorated, everything so clean, bathroom spotless. Plenty of choice at breakfast and amazing quality food, the staff so accommodating and always extremely polite. Car parking a bonus. Location to town centre excellent between 10 - 15 walk. Had a wonderful stay and highly recommended will most definitely return. 5 star b & b

We are half way through our two night stay at Grey’s guesthouse and everything from check in to breakfast has been great. We are staying in room 1 which is on the ground floor which was immaculately clean with a super comfy bed. Tv could have been a little bigger but not a train smash. Breakfast as mentioned was superb with great service all included in the nightly rate. I would highly recommend staying at Grey’s if you are visiting Bath.

Delightful room, at the top of this characterful house on the hill above Bath. Very clean and comfortable. I slept very well despite a major storm outside. The staff were very helpful, particularly Emily and the breakfast team, making sure I had all I needed as a vegan, including a scrumptious breakfast. Having parking on site was very useful and I enjoyed the walk into town and even the walk back up the hill via the little hidden pathways.

I booked as a solo female traveller, as the website said it is was a family run B+B with them available throughout your stay. I was disappointed to then find out there’s no one there from 6pm (and in fact I arrived at 5.40pm and I had to use the lockbox), but a kind fellow guest inside showed me around, and where the breakfast room was etc. That said, the room was beautiful, the bed was very comfy, the breakfast was fab, and the staff at breakfast were friendly and efficient. There is also free parking for your car. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk downhill into the centre of Bath, and a £4-7 Uber back up the hill again! I would stay here again - it’s a lovely spot x

Thank you for taking the time to write a review and we are a small Guest House so not always here and closed in the evening, but just like you did guests can request keysafe instructions so they can collect their keys. Our breakfast room is about 5 steps from the front door so not too easy to miss. Thank you once again for staying with us.
