At Bay Tree House we aim to provide our guests with a comfortable and relaxing stay. Being on the doorstep of this beautiful City we are just 5 minutes walk from the Thermae Bath Spa, The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent and The Circus, as well as the vast selection of shops! With an excellent choice of restaurants nearby, we are happy to help with recommendations and reservations. The train and bus stations are within 15 minutes walk or a short taxi ride. If you are arriving by car, we have two private parking spaces at the rear of the house. Our rooms are stylish and homely along with a friendly and professional service, with all the personal touches of a small family run business.

Fabulous find! Excellent value for money. The fresh milk, orange juice, pastry, yogurt and fruit was a thoughtful gesture!! Our room was homely with a big bathroom!! Different teas & coffee provided. We had everything we needed, tv, radio, hairdryer etc and the accommodation was only a 10 minute walk (not uphill!) to the centre. The parking was an added bonus as this can be pricey in Bath!! Will definitely stay here next time we visit Bath. Some comments have mentioned the noise from the road but we stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and thought it was quite!!! Depends what you’re used to I guess :-)

Bay Tree House is a comfortable, convenient and very pleasant terraced house a very short walk from the centre of Bath. The owner's attention to detail is remarkable: everything is just where it should be. My stay was so easy and very welcoming. The room I most recently stayed in - on the ground floor - was spotless, cozy and spacious. I have travelled a lot and I could not recommend Bay Tree House more strongly.

We booked a 2 night stay here for the price and the location. Not for the less mobile as it's a good 15 min walk into the centre of town and the bus and train station. We stayed in room 3 which was immaculate. and tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. Drawer space was limited. The room was very warm but there was a fan available. We couldn't have the windows open at night as the accommodation is on a busy road. The bathroom was an excellent size, with his and hers sinks, toiletries and a large shower with plenty of hot water. There was a fridge and microwave at the bottom of the stairs. There was a breakfast of yoghurt, juice, fruit and pastries which you ate in your room. There was an iron and ironing board available downstairs. A kettle, tea and coffee was provided but We did find it strange that no one removed the dirty cups and glasses so we had to rinse them out in the bathroom. Check out is quite early at 10am, but we could leave our case until later in the day. Would we stay here again -For a short break yes.…

This spotless little Guest House is perfectly located for central Bath which is minutes away by foot. I stayed in room 1 which was spacious and had a smart, immaculate ensuite shower room with sink & WC. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided and on the ground floor there is a useful microwave and a fridge where the owner, Louise Horn, places some light breakfast items should you wish. There’s parking available at the rear of the house. I found Bay Tree House to be great value for money.

We booked originally due to its proximity to the City Centre only a few minutes walk away. We were not disappointed. The room was spacious and the bathroom enormous for a B&B, all toiletries were provided and it was spotlessly clean and tidy. Ideally located for the City we didn't use the car at all during our stay which was a bonus.

Just a one night stay but very pleased with this b&b. Good covid precautions and very nice, very clean room. Spacious and comfortable. Close enought to the attractions of Bath that it was an easy walk to find all the things we wanted.

Prior to arrival we had good communication with the owners for self check in. On the day of arrival we were even called by the owners to let us know our room had been upgraded as they were not fully booked, they didn't have to do this and was a nice touch- thank you. The property is on a main road, so you have to stop and unload before moving the car to other side of the road with a parking permit provided free of charge or by parking behind the property in one of two designated spaces. This was accessed via a side street, but no major issues. The family room was big, as was the bathroom. Very comfortable bed and all normal amenities provided (kettle, coffee sachets, tea bags, hairdryer, hangers) The room had a radio, fan and TV also. Even though the room was on the main road, that didn't disturb us at all as the room has an extra shutter which blocked out the noise of the street perfectly. The location was great for us, 10/ 15minute walk to the city centre. Very close to all to Bath has to offer - the Abbey, roman baths, restaurants. We could walk everywhere, without needing to get a taxi or take the car. We would happily stay here again when visiting Bath.…

This establishment is clean and gives off a lovely homely vibe. However, I do feel that for the price (which is quite expensive for a B&B but yes I know that Bath is expensive) you should get a cooked breakfast. For this reason alone, I would not stay here again and would look elsewhere as there are other places to stay for the same price or cheaper that offer a cooked breakfast. But, if you're not bothered by this then I absolutely recommend it.

I booked this place well in advance and paid in full. When my son and Husband arrived at the property, they were told that there was not a room available for them. They were not given an alternative, or warned in advance. And, they arrived in the morning. Shoddy, to say the least. Beware: You may not have a room, even though you paid in full well in advance..

As Australians looking for a genuine English B&B experience, this was exactly what we got. Gary our host was always willing to help with helpful sight seeing advice or anything to make our stay more enjoyable. The room was clean and well appointed. The breakfast room provided an opportunity to converse with other guests over a very nice breakfast. A really great B&B experience.
