Greeted by Maria who was lovely and taken to our very traditional room which was a little small but perfectly clean and comfortable. Little fridge also in room. Only downside was very poor Wifi connection. Breakfast fantastic. Great location and easy walk into town.

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Claudia. We were greeted warmly by Maria and Carlo and shown to our room which had a four poster bed and a small fridge if we needed it. While not ensuite, the beautiful spacious private bathroom was just next door and we were given a foldable screen to give us privacy when moving from... More

This location was perfect for a first-time driver in the UK. Downtown is within easy walking distance. The road to Stonehenge is nearby, so you can be on your way in no time. The room was bright and beautiful. The bed was luxurious. Parking was no problem. Have the full English breakfast prepared just to your liking by Carlo. Remember... More

Wonderful little b&b in a pretty central location (only a 5 minute walk from Great Pulteney Street). The room was perfect and had a lovely four poster bed. The hosts, Maria and Carlo were absolutely lovely, very friendly and welcoming. This place was such a refreshing change from the usual chain type of accommodation. If we're ever in the vicinity... We usually use hotels, often chains but for our recent short stay in Bath opted for Villa Claudia, a B&B in a quiet residential area but only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. We certainly weren't disappointed: Villa Claudia is a period house on which Italian owners Maria and Carlo Amato have stamped their own character. We stayed in... More

Maria and Carlo Amato made us feel really welcome. We stayed for three nights and will definitely return. Within walking distance of Bath City centre, the b& b is spotless and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the smoked salmon and scrambled egg option. Our double room with adjoining private bathroom was very comfortable and well-appointed. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay here. Maria and Carlo are so friendly. They make you feel welcome straight away. The food is of a very good standard - Maria goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you want, regularly asking if you need or want more of anything. The room was very clean and comfortable. Villa... More

Stayed two nights as 'guests' of Maria and Carlo but were treated like family. We arrived just after noon but our room was ready. There are only 3 rooms and we stayed in room 2. Don't expect a swanky B&B. Our room was a little cluttered but exceptionally clean. The mattress on the bed was firm offering a great night... More
