What a wonderful stay we had at the apartment. Such a wonderful space that feels so held. Meredith and John ensured the accommodation was spotlessly clean and well stocked with teas and coffee and other basics that were so very appreciated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept so soundly whilst we were there. A good hot shower set us up each day for visiting various nearby places to visit. The chalice well, Abbey, Tor and Glastonbury quirky high street were all on the door step. Parking is available in a number of car parks nearby. We each had a healing with John. For me a wonderful past life regression rebalancing and Gentle rebalancing for the children which they loved. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

This was our first time at the Divine light centre but I trust it will not be our last. Four of us stayed there for 5 days and really enjoyed the experience. Meredith and John were really helpful; we very much appreciated the welcome food too! The apartment has a lovely sense of peace. On a practical level, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, the bathroom was clean with an efficient shower, the kitchen was well equipped. There was a large range of books, DVD,s and music CD,s within the cosy , comfortable sitting room. The terrace is lovely and we managed to enjoy one evening meal there before the rain set in. We were aware from the website that we were next door to a pub and on Friday and Saturday night we could hear the noise but on the other nights it was quiet and peaceful . There are stairs into the flat and a few stairs down to the bathroom but both are railed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment. Thank you John and Meredith.

We stayed 3 nights for the first time at the Divine Light Self-Catering Apartment. On arrival we were treated to a warm welcome and a complimentary breakfast starter pack. A very nice touch that made us feel very welcome. In the apartment itself, the space was more than adequate and the rooms were all very clean, tidy and well maintained. There was a tremendous uplifting energy that was great to meditate in. A very relaxing atmosphere was felt throughout and the small terrace added to the overall experience of “Getting away from it all”. There was plenty of cutlery, plates, cups, dishes and pans with all the appliances you would expect in a well equipped kitchen. In fact, we didn’t expect to find as much as we did and packed more utensils than we needed too! The bed and couch were very comfy. More than enough entertainment had been provided whether DVD’s (a good selection to cater for all tastes), CD’s, Oracle/Angel cards, magazines/ and spiritual books. Wi-fi was also provided at no extra cost. Admittedly there was no parking directly outside the apartment, apart from to unload and load for half an hour. For a longer stay, we could park over in the Abbey car park (free over night) or a short walk to Benedict Street. This was our second time at Glastonbury and again we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Dealing with both John and Meredith either in person or over the internet was a pleasure as nothing was too much trouble. I must also add the healing/reading provided by John was very uplifting and inspiring that I would recommend to anyone. Many thanks for a lovely stay and we hope to visit again soon.

This was my first trip to Glastonbury and John and Meredith from Divine Light ensured this was an amazing experience. It started with the ultra luxurious beds that provided me with the best sleeps I ever had (so much so that I stripped the bed to find the brand name) and a power shower that energized me for the entire day. The cottage itself was very homey and felt more like a retreat than hotel-like accommodation. The energy in this place, as well as throughout Glastonbury, was one of peace, tranquility and balance. The Divine Light tours were outstanding. The days were full of travel and profound sites and I knew from day one that this would be a life changing trip. Travelling from Canada, I thought there would be days of adjustment, but John and Meredith's tour design was such that it felt like an effortless journey. For the first time in my life, I stayed in the moment. I enjoyed each day as it came and never had to worry about what lay ahead, as all the decisions were already made, and they were made with the best intention for the group. If you are looking for a vacation to connect, re-charge, laugh a lot, be visually wow'd, and be treated better than family, book your trip with Divine Light and have a trip that you will talk about and reflect on for years and years!

Firstly, before booking, we were not made aware of the steep flight of steps leading up to the apartment. When we were shown around, it was obvious that the place had seen better days. The small kitchenette in the corner of the lounge, had outdated and worn appliances and the cupboards and cooking implements needed a clean. There was a lack of storage space and we had nowhere to put our food. The seating in the living area was uncomfortable and I ended up sitting on top of three cushions on the chair to avoid sinking nearly to the floor! The bathroom had a foisty smell and the window was far too high to reach. But the real let-down was the outdoor terrace which was frankly a mess. There were several large planters with dead or dying plants and shrubs in them and a broken waterfall feature with a gooey mass of green algae in the bottom. Mould and cobwebs pervaded the whole terrace and it certainly wasn't the haven of peace and tranquility that we had paid for! The only positive was it's close proximity to Glastonbury town centre which is literally a minutes walk away. Given the glowing reviews and the owners website's claims about this apartment, we were expecting an enjoyable stay but it wasn't to be and spoiled our visit to Glastonbury.

Upon reaching this wonderful flat with it's beautiful open out terrace, I felt a wonderful sense of peace and belonging which is just what everyone needs when escaping from the daily grind of work life. The flat itself is conveniently located to the high street, the Abbey and the Tor. It comes fully equipped with everything you need if you find leaving all the mod cons of your life a bit difficult at first. John and Meredith are your perfect hosts and make sure that your stay there is a comfortable and pleasant one. Let this be your one stop for everything you need whether you're a first timer or a seasoned visitor.

If you are looking for somewhere to forget the stresses of everyday life in a home from home environment then this is the place for you. John and Meredith have created a warm spritual place where we have always loved returning to over the years. It's location is right in the heart of Glastonbury where the people are always welcoming. Enjoy !!
