Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location is excellent for Glastonbury and the surrounding area. There are loads shops around there and no issues parking. The staff were absolutely lovely and are happy to help with anything!! The rooms are very basic but well maintained and clean. The chairs in the room were not very comfy and we spent most our time sitting on the bed. Other than that, no issues at all :)

I stayed at the Travelodge in Glastonbury, it was inexpensive but clean and welcoming, with enough parking for all. I also preferred that I can turn the heater in my room off at night as I hate hot hotel rooms at nighttime. It does not offer breakfast boxes but there is a large Tesco with cafe and a small Costa cafe nearby. The other advantage for the evening is the fast food outlets next to the hotel with an excellent fish and chip shop.

Basic but comfortable hotel with excellent staff. Reception went well beyond what was required when my car battery was flat. Had me on my way very quickly. That on top of a more serious drama meant the staff had had a difficult night - but that didn’t make a difference to their professionalism and kindness

We were very disappointed staying at this travelodge as all we could smell for the whole duration of our stay was cannabis??? This issue was mentioned to staff at reception, who failed to act on this issue leading to us cutting our stay short. Room was dirty and view from room was looking out onto a shell garage forecourt. Also very noisy and kept up by guest above stomping on the floor all night. Floors have no sound insulation. Will stick with premier inn when visiting again as this travelodge is more like a hostel for the homeless...

Great location just off the main road. Domino's, KFC, fish and chip shop, 24hr petrol station and a Tesco Superstore all a stone throw away. All the Staff I met were very helpful especially Sara the hotel manager. Two floors stairs and a lift. Room was standard travelodge design. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I’d booked this travelodge back in July as planned a little birthday trip with a friend. The price and car parking swayed me over the other options. I was not disappointed. The rooms were clean and acceptable (the hotel will be refurbished April 2024), location was close to everywhere we wanted. We went to a Brewers Fayre for dinner which was less than a 2 min drive. We were on an industrial estate and hotel is above a Domininos, subway and KFC. Little bit of road noise but didn’t stop anybody sleeping soundly. If you want luxury, this isn’t it, obviously, but just to lay your head, it is fine and I would stay again. The staff we dealt with were all friendly and presented a very good image for the brand.

In the middle of a fast food area so handy for snacks, Tesco nearby too. Parking available. Well located. Room was clean, bed comfortable, staff all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Might be noisy in the summer with windows open as near a busy road - fine in the winter.
