Disappointed with the stay, hotel wasn’t what I was expecting from the pictures, and traveled a long way to stay there, it’s on a main high street and the pictures don’t show it, and the room was very poor for the price paid

We booked to stay here for one night as we were visiting a friend who lives locally. Great hotel had the best nights sleep...bed was huge! The only thing I would say is the hotel postcode takes you round in circles as Stafford is full of one way systems. We parked in a local

Thank you for taking the time to leave us with your feedback. Whilst I'm pleased to hear that you found the room to be adequate, I'm naturally disappointed to learn there were some teething problems which may have overshadowed your stay. Please be assured I have noted your comments for both our onsite caretaker for the bedroom issues and also our Brasserie regarding the service. Please don't hesitate to contact me direct should you wish to discuss the matters any further. Kind regards Ed, General Manager

Friendly hotel in the middle of Stafford. Excellent food and drink. I would recommend it to anybody. The only downside is the church bell waking you up every hour during the night, unless you've had few beers; in that case not even a cannon would wake you up.

Hi, The Swan hotel became dog friendly following our takeover earlier in the year by The Coaching Inn Group. We do realised that not all of our guests are comfortable with dogs for various reasons, including those who suffer with allergies. As such, we have chosen not to allow dogs in the restaurant and also the courtyard bar area to enable guests to enjoy the comforts of The Swan without dogs present. Kind regards The Swan

Hi BlueDog01, Thank you for your comments, as you can see many of our Trip Advisor reviews are collected in partnership with ourselves through a separate interface. We therefore respond to these reviews privately via another platform. We do aim to respond to any negative reviews as quickly as possible but we like to give our managers a chance to feedback to us before we respond, hence there sometimes being a slight delay. Please be assured that you will receive a response to your review in due course.

Hi Mandy, I am very sorry to hear about your recent experience. We do have a car park located at the back of the hotel which is complimentary for our restaurant diners, who are issued with a parking permit on arrival from reception. We do currently have a beer festival marquee in our car park for the next week, which has vastly limited the spaces, and is therefore only available to our hotel residents for this short time. I apologise if this was not explained to you fully, and i will be speaking with our reservations team to ensure no future instances such as this occurs. Our car park will be back to normal from Tuesday 24th May and available to all of our guests. I do hope you will consider visiting us again, and i can assure you we take the comfort and accessibility of all of our guests very seriously. Thank you for your feedback. Nikki
