Not sure of the ladies name at reception but a real credit to the hotel and she couldn't have made us feel anymore welcome . Bar staff were good and food was also good .lovely and relaxing stay . Will defo be back again

A great hotel right in Stafford. Has a car park where you get a parking permit when you check in. Friendly staff and nice rooms. The building is full of character and you could be staying in the same room Charles Dickens stayed in. The food was lovely
Lovely hotel, good location and parking. Enjoyed the coffee bar and restaurant. Service in the restaurant was a bit slow but the staff were apologetic for this.Rooms spacious and comfortable. Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Not a very good experience from the time we sat down for are meal booked for 8 got the menu at 9 had to fetch own drink from bar just poor service will not be having a meal for some time the waitress that we first spoke to was not the waitress we had at the end
