The bed is so comfy & the room is massive . Tory on reception was very helpful I asked for a ironing board and iron it was left in room for when we got back. She was very cheerful just the type of person who should be on reception nothing to much trouble

Hotel's Favourite
When staying at a Premier Inn for a second time, you know what to expect with regards the room and room facilities as they offer a standard product for their brand.
What sets your stay apart is the cleanliness and customer service.
Both of which are excellent at this hotel AND where when we stayed a year ago. Good to see consistancy and such effecient reception staff.

When I arrived I was put in room 102 or 104 (I can't quite remember). I was studying and travelling solo, and the room I was placed in was not at all sound proof and was above the entrance to the restaurant and hotel.. and I could hear every word. The corridor internal door was also just outside the room door and I could hear it bang everytime someone went through. I just couldn't concentrate on any of my revision. I bumped into Ali who was on reception and mentioned the problem, she instantly understood the issue and had me moved into a different room immediately that was in a much quieter location (in the 130's) which is at the back of the hotel. She was really helpful and understanding, and helped me move my stuff into the new room. I was really greatful for how understanding and kind she was. Otherwise the stay went without problem or issue, the hotel itself could do with a freshen up, but it did what it said on the box and I slept well. Thanks Ali!

Forget AC there was no ventilation, 22 degrees outside and 30 degrees in the room, was a nightmare to sleep in with children in same room. Room cleaning service was a let down since they only changed towels when I specifically asked for room to be cleaned. And they didn't fill up the coffee and tea satchets. Shower was nice and powerful but once again no ventilation working so all that humidity into our room.

Stayed here recently for a works night out in the local area
Couldn’t fault the staff on reception or in the bar always friendly and helpful both checking in and checking out .
The room was awful strong smell of smoking in the hallway and in the room, toilet was filthy and blood on he skirting boards in the rooms. Dirty marks on the bathroom walls and door and cobwebs above the bed - just felt dirty and not cared for . The floating ceiling was starting to come in towards the door . Just felt a bit dilapidated and in need of a through clean and spruce up. Shower soap/gel was empty as well which just added a cherry on top.
Also 70 quid which isn’t bad but there were hotels closer to Yarm a little more money that would have been better but locationally and typically knowing what you get at a premier inn it felt poor value for money

Communication could have been better, when I checked in on the first day. The staff were not particularly friendly and came across as quite blunt so I feel staff could have been friendler.
I asked a member of staff for another towel as only one was provided yet there were two people booked in to the room.
A few times I asked for the room to be cleaned and even left the paper hanging on the door handle to state that we want the room cleaned.
I was also given two key cards upon check in when the staff were aware my boyfriend was coming a day later, I had to wake up at 4am to let him in as staff told him that i had to come down to let him in yet there was two people on reception.

We thought Premier Inn prided themselves on comfy beds, ours were so rock hard we struggled to sleep and my husband can usually sleep anywhere. Typically basic room but airless, if you open a window bear in mind the rooms are alongside a dual carriage way. The breakfast is at the pub next-door, this was really awful dried up and should also be avoided

The hotel is OK- tried to book an additional night but was told it was £209 even though I originally paid £79 plus breakfast - Premier Inn is supposed to be an affordable budget type hotel so I declined even though rooms were still available on the day I wanted. I stayed somewhere much better for less than half that price on the Yarm Road - They've lost the plot, I probably wouldn't stay there again due to this! Crazy attitude

Hotel was as to be expected - clean and perfectly serviceable. Room was way too hot - air con didn't work but we didn't bother reporting as already going to bed, only needed to sleep there and wouldn't have thought they could have fixed it at 11pm. Turned out our children's room was the same and our family staying in nearby premier inn had same problem. Must be very expensive to run and as we only wanted a reasonably priced clean room for an overnight sleep so it wasn't the end of the world. Friendly but bit slow check in, it was only an issue as we had been travelling for 6 hours and just wanted to get to the room and back out.
Restaurant was a bit chaotic , staff doing the very best they could but they were very understaffed. Lack of mugs for hot drinks, buffet breakfast came out ad hoc meaning people standing waiting with plates of food going cold waiting for eggs etc. Vegetarian breakfast options were not edible. The front of house lady was very good and working her socks off - get her more staff!

I think that it was ordered and brought to the table.
Not sure as we went in December. They are helpful - perhaps give them a ring. Happy Holiday.
I don't think so, but I would trust the service minded personnel at the reception will be happy to help.
Or maybe you can use the water heater for tea/coffe in the room?
