All of us enjoyed our meal and the service was very good all staff very friendly and included the children when asking what we would like to order. Found it...

Geat pub for Sunday lunch ; the menu is fairly limited but good. Friedly staff, efficient service, comfortable seating. Fair price and even fairly good coffee after the meal (fresh tasting plunge coffee, perhaps a little weak for my taste but better than most.

Just had lunch. Great food, cosy fireplaces in bar, washrooms immaculate. Recommend highly for visitors to the area. Interesting history about the pub and town. Cathedral is a must-see. Parking is good, too.

We stayed here for 2 nights b&b. We were shown to a nice big room with king size bed (very comfy), a big bathroom with bath and a separate walk in shower. The room was heated with under floor heating which was adjustable and made the room feel really cosy. The food on offer was excellent, decent size portions, and...

If your looking for a great couples weekend getaway then look no further than staying at the Fox especially in room 6. The room was beautifully decorated, the staff, service and food (both at breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Thank you to Lyndsey, James, Tom, Ciara and all the rest of the staff for making us keen to re-book soon....

Stayed for New Year with friends. Rooms charming and food very good, but what really made the stay for all of us was the exceptional staff. Although they were obviously very busy, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for any of the cheerful and friendly team members. All our requests and concerns were dealt with promptly and efficiently - cannot...

"The Fox has one of the best glutton free menus". That's what my sister visiting from Ireland said. We both had the best prawn cocktail we'd ever tasted, homemade sauce is sooo much nicer. And she was spoilt for choice on starters, mains and desserts too. I was meeting family members and we are into trying each other's dishes. They...
