We received a very warm welcome and were given clear directions to a local pub for dinner. The bedroom was clean and tidy with a good hot drinks tray. There was also a bottle of water. There was an excellent breakfast with fresh eggs from their hens. The Cottage is very close to Bury St Edmunds and numerous National Trust...

Nick and Clare own a gem so very close to bury st. Edmunds. Quiet countryside, comfortable rooms, very clean, delicious breakfasts. We booked online, but next time we will book this and other reservations directly with the b&b owners as the cost is likely lower.

My partner and I spent two nights here. Everything was just wonderful, from the welcome cuppa when we arrived, to the great advice on where to eat, to the amazing cooked breakfast each morning. To share the garden with the chickens who laid the eggs was a real treat. For a peaceful break, with plenty of National Trust properties within...

Stayed for 4 nights in the 2 bedroom cottage with my wife and 2 kids. Really clean and cosy. Friendly owners, but not intrusive, even though we were quite noisy in the pool. The pool is great for kids but probably not if you are a serious swimmer. Loads of grounds to explore, village football pitch is 100 meters away....

I was staying with a friend in the twin B&B room as we had a wedding to attend close by. We were welcomed warmly and they were very accommodating even though we turned up early! Perfect room, clean, nice sheets, ensuite shower room and lovely view over the garden. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend!

Great location, great room, great everything but the breakfast is something else. When the sausages grew up in the back garden and the food miles on the eggs are counted in yards, that's what I call local!

We were very fortunate in finding this gem of a cottage for a week over New Year 2014/15. Our son and his fiance were geting married just up the road in Boxted on New Years Eve, and having our granddaugher christened a the same time, so a cottage 3 miles away was really convenient. The cottage was great, with two...

I stayed here with my husband and two children aged 1 and 3 and I can't recommend this cottage enough. We had a lovely break and it was made extra special with those little touches like blankets on the sofas so that we could snuggle up on those chilly days and enjoy a film from their wide DVD collection. The...
