Our first visit to this pub, just for an evening meal before the theatre. Very friendly welcome, efficient service, delicious food, reasonable price. Will definitely go back on another occasion - the lunch menu looks good too!

This is a lovely little travellers inn with a quirky feel because of the old buildings - however the bedrooms are recently updated and very contemporary. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in, somehow soft and firm at the same time. The food was splendid and there was more choice than in...

Very attentive staff , had a lunch and leaving breakfast, all very professional. 3rd year we've stayed on a Newmarket race day. Not so close to the races but lovely country pub/ hotel. Staff extremely helpful, nothing too much trouble, thanks for making it an excellent stay.

Stayed here for one night on business. Room is big as is the bathroom. Received brusque & rude treatment from a member of staff (the manager?) because there was a problem with the booking company. The chap at breakfast was very nice. The breakfast itself was average - coffee served in teapots?? Not worth £100. Won't stay here again.

Spent just one night at the Dog and Partridge, very clean rooms, lovely white bedding. Staff friendly especially the housekeeper who managed to get all our rooms ready early so we could get ready for a wedding. Good breakfast and all at a reasonable price.

We stayed for just one night and was very happy with everything. The housekeeper was really friendly and the staff made you feel welcome. The room was very clean and everything you would need for a one night stay. Very enjoyable and would go back again.

Stayed there for three nights while on business in the area and really enjoyed it. The accommodation was spacious, clean and great bathroom/shower (really is a power shower!.). I ate twice there, the burgers are like towers and the portions are very good. Its next to the Green King IPA Brewery - literally next to - and the tall chimneys...
