We spent four nights at Rosery, using it as a base to visit a friend at the delightful market town of St Ives, the magnificent cathedral at Ely and the colleges of Cambridge ( the park & ride from Newmarket Road was very good). We spent an enjoyable day walking round the RSPB reserve at Lakenheath fen. The hotel was...

The hotel is in a very convenient location and looks attractive, with a lovely garden. We Were were speedily moved to a ground floor room when my companion realised that he would be unable to manage the steep stairs to the first floor. The room was very spacious, and the shower was nice and hot, and there was no extra...

We arrived late, much later than expected, phoned ahead some 10 minutes before reaching the hotel and still managed to get dinner. The staff were fantastic, so helpful. Bed was comfortable and my husband was delighted with his English cooked breakfast.

Arranged a family room for 3. Although the room was old fashioned in keeping with the building this did not detract from our enjoyable stay. The service and breakfast provided was excellent. We would definitely go back if we were ever returning to Newmarket. Thank you.

The hotel was small, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door and we were personally shown to our room, which was a nice touch. The hotel is old, with charm and the family room we had was...

Stopped here for one night recently and have to say the owner/staff were great. We were travelling to a wedding and arrived early and they arranged to have our rooms ready way in advance of the usual check in time. Nice breakfast and a good nights sleep. What more do you need.

We just wanted a base for the night this place was perfect. Not to expensive and reasonably located. Breakfast included. Room bit dated but large size with on suite plenty of space for clothes. View Lovely from the window with ample parking of road.

I am so glad we booked to stay here. A quaint and cosy hotel in the sleepy village of Exning. Don't expect a fancy, modern interior what you get is comfortable and warm with friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you to Emma who gave us the four poster room with a great view of the Victorian garden. A spacious room...
