Magnificent.

Magnificent, the welcome, the beer, the food, the room, the breakfast. I travel a lot and The Bull Inn at Woodbridge is the best place I've stayed at in a long while, and the previous night I was in a four star hotel!

Disappointing visit

Room very noisy busy road,plumber working outside hammering from 9am to 5.15pm. One hard chair as their was two of us one had to sit on the bed. The mirror in the bathroom was so high unable to see in it. Mirror in bedroom so dark not much light in bedroom.couldn’t get Wi-Fi luckily the lady on reception was up and down the stairs to connect it. With the noise in the bedroom the only other place to sit was the bar. I must admit all the staff were good and the breakfast excellent. Mentioned the noise to the owner and I was told a lot of maintenance needs doing on old buildings. Parking a nightmare. Would not stay there again.

Great Sunday Roast

Fantastic Sunday Roast was had by myself and wife. It was a late booking on line this morning but we had lovely time. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. Great pub and thoroughly recommended.

Charming Suffolk but not quite perfect.

Charming Pub & Hotel in Woodbridge on the edge of a marketplace. A variety of rooms and facilities therein. Parking is extremely limited so needs to be reserved in advance for an additional fee. The building is not accessible to those with mobility needs given its old/wonky floors layout. Our first floor room was on first view clean and tidy. Some minor points needed addressing such as a tiny fan with dust that was ineffectual against the heat of the night. Shower hose was disgusting and clearly hasn’t been cleaned in some time, full sized kettle cannot even be put under the small bathroom tap so I had to use the shower to fill it up! Loose handles on the wardrobe and untidy cables on the tv as well. Fire escape further down has cobwebs and holes in the wall exposing electrical cables ! This let down the overall presentation, had this been fixed it would’ve been a solid 5 on the scorecard. Messaged the hotel regards this but no response.…

Well worth a visit

The Hotel was excellent. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. Food was exceptional. Lovely atmosphere. Parking easy and secure. Dining inside well spaced and ventilated. Dining outside equally well spaced. Very relaxing. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend a visit.

The Bull Inn is a real gem.

We really liked this lovely pub/hotel. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and it felt very chilled. The bar has a great atmosphere and the whole place is really nicely and considerately designed. You get a real sense of the place's history too. We sat out front for a few drinks, lovely on a summer evening watching the world go by. We stayed in the family room which is at the back of the hotel in an extension, so there's little noise from the pub once the kids are in bed. The family room is two bedrooms and a bathroom - excellent set-up if the kids are smaller and you don't want to have to go to bed at the same time. Pleasant room, large, comfy beds, generous and well-designed new bathroom. Excellent food too - we had a fantastic dinner from the seasonal menu, and the lunches looked good. Breakfast was really good, recommend the Full English and the Eggs Benedict. The Bull Inn is really well located (we were visiting friends and we'd not been to this part of the world before, but Woodbridge is a lovely town), a quick walk into the town and down to the river. We will definitely be back! …

One word…Outstanding

The service here is absolutely amazing! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, our drinks order was taken promptly and the food menu offered a range of mouthwatering choices! Every member of staff we spoke to were warm and friendly and although they were clearly busy, it still felt very relaxed. At no stage was service slow and we were not made to felt rushed at all. In fact, it was quite a joy to watch the front of house team serving others as I was thinking to myself….they’d be great working for my business. The quality of the food matched the service and our meal was delicious. As an ale drinker, the bar had an excellent range of both local and guests beers, (of which were thoroughly enjoyed). The wine list was impressive too. The atmosphere at The Bull offers a great ambiance and setting for a good get together with friends and family. Overall and being new to the Woodbridge area I found this place to be a real ‘feather in the cap’ of the Town!…

Great area and location

We recently stayed at The Bull Inn whilst visiting the area. We were pleased with the location, food and the staff, but disappointed in the family room. We had read all the reviews and looked at the pictures and were excited to stay in the historic inn, but we were in the family room which is in an annex behind the hotel. It was not of the same quality with decor and size as the other rooms pictured on the website. In fact, it looked nothing like the photos of the other rooms. The room was plain and in serious need of an upgrade. Beds were creaky and uncomfortable. The 2nd bedroom with the 2 single beds, more like a long closet with the beds end to end and plain walls. It was depressing in fact. We also got no internet at all in our room and no sitting area since the room was tight and only one chair per room. We didn’t even have room for our luggage. The bathroom however was upgraded and very nice and the shower excellent. The USB plugs on the outlets were a great addition for charging phones, etc. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the food very good for both breakfasts and dinner. We made due and the room was fine for just sleeping, but I know we would have enjoyed our stay so much more if we had been in the rooms in the main hotel. The family room really needs an upgrade to match the rest of the hotel pictures.…

Excellent Hotel

Excellent accommodation and food. Breakfasts are very good and set you up for the day. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and staff are very attentive. Although in centre of town parking is available or there are free overnight car parks within a short walk.

Welcome to Woodbridge

Wonderful welcome, the friendliest staff ever. We felt nothing was too much to make us comfortable. Room 3 v comfortable with sitting area and fab view down the street from the bed in the morning. Great breakfast and super coffee. Would love to have an excuse to stay here again
