Great place to stay with a very warm welcome and a very helpful owner (who sorted cabs for us and couldn’t do enough to make our stay great). Room 11 has lovely views of the square, has been decorated to a high standard and feels newly done and fresh. Attention to detail and quality furnishings makes you feel special. V comfy bed and a good strong shower ! Easy to find parking on the nearby residential street (for free) if you don’t get a parking space. Breakfast was good, definitely an another example where they have put thought in to make it much better than a run of the mill breakfast

A week ago we got married at The Shire Hall, Woodbridge, then celebrated at the Bull Inn opposite. The service and food at the Bull Inn was excellent and highly recommended. The sit down meal for our wedding party was delicious and well presented. The restaurant was dressed for the event and looked amazing, while the waitresses were excellent ensuring our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. That evening we had a buffet in the function room. Again the room looked fantastic and the buffet was very generous. We stayed in the master suite which was spacious and comfortable. Almost all our family guests stayed in the hotel for two nights and enjoyed the rooms and breakfasts. I cannot thank Sarah, Jess and David enough for organising an amazing wedding reception that was so relaxed and fun, just as we had wished it to be.

What a welcome with Michelle and service and a clean pub hotel. We been welcomed with a smile and looked after very well though this is first time visit. Their food was excellent and tasty. When our taxi was late for the wedding we been offered lift by the owner Sarah. Who patiently left everything to drop us. Even it wasn’t close journey. How can’t you appreciate this lovely service and well looked after. Thank you Michelle and Sarah and all the staff at the Bull inn and definitely I recommend this place for anyone staying in or near Woodbridge.

We were invited hereby local friends for a meal and it was a great choice. It is in the town square and has classic low beams. The meal we had was fine dining rather than classic pub fare; it was good value for only but not cheap. The tastes were exquisite and all of the ingredients were local .

Thank you John and glad you liked the fine dining. We try and offer a range of classic foods for all tastes but trying to find good value at the moment is very difficult given the price of energy, wages and ingredients. Our only comfort is that we believe we are competitively priced versus other local venues that offer fine dining options. Frustrating times for all at the moment but we hope to see you back soon. Thank you for taking the time to post a positive review for The Bull Inn - it is very much appreciated.

Staff very caring but unobtrusive. Accommodation very clean. Breakfast substantial, good choices. Had a Sunday roast for evening meal, can thoroughly recommend, but no room for dessert! We’ll placed for visiting places dog interest in Suffolk.

Thank you for the positive review and we are glad you were well fed - yes the chef's can be a little too generous with their portion sizes - just head straight to desserts next time - they are divine but unfortunately under appreciated!
