We stayed for one night last night. Lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff. Very clean bedroom and bathroom with very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. We were meeting with friends nearby so unfortunately were unable to have dinner in the restaurant or use the spa facilities but would definitely stay here again so we could.

Stayed for a week on a business trip. Restaurant was outstanding but expensive. Room was very small. Bed was ok. Wifi was good.man issue I had was cleanliness. Maybe I'm being picky but having dropped an item of clothing when I arrived, I reached down to retrieve it to find a dirty tissue and rubbish under the chest of drawers...

Its our second stay here. We like the atmosphere the staff are friendly and attentive but not in your face. The spa and pool are very good. We had a couple of minor problems with the room but they were sorted very quickly. Breakfast in the room was excellent dinner is always good the bar is relaxing with a good...

Stayed here for two nights in February. Upon arrival the lady who greeted us actually looked surprised when I said we had a reservation. This made me feel a little uncomfortable but I thought little of it. We had booked a standard double and were a little bemused when we were shown to are rather grand suite but not having...

Was welcomed by some very friendly staff and they couldn't have been more help. The hotel was out of the way of the main road, plenty of parking and nice and quiet. The food wasn't the best (same soup 2 night's in a row) but was ok for a business stay. The best thing was the pool, hidden away in...

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon with our 2 young daughters aged 5 and 2. Reception staff were warm and welcoming. We had been helpfully phoned the day before to tell us the pool was out of action which was a real shame as we were looking forward to a swim on a rainy day but glad we didn't change...

Having chosen Seckford Hall as a venue for our wedding celebrations we were disappointed to have our business turned away by Maria the events manager. All we wanted was to invite 24 people to dinner on a Sunday evening but apparently neither the chef or a seating plan could accommodate this. In fact the "events manager" couldn't have been more...

My husband and I spent the night on a Saturday for a belated valentines get away! The building itself is beautifully historical, with original fixtures and gorgeous surroundings. The building has an atmosphere that hugs you the minute you enter its doorway, with its wooden beams dim lights and the smell of wonderful food from the kitchen. It does not...

The good part is that Seckford Hall has lovely buildings and grounds and very good staff. We had lunch on a Saturday, the restaurant was almost empty and freezing cold. We asked for the heating to be turned on, but it didn't make much difference. The food was served in tiny portions that wouldn't fill a church mouse. Whilst it...

Lovely setting, we booked a one night stay through Secret Escapes and everything about our stay was perfect. The check in was effortless, shown to our room by a very helpful receptionist. The room was bright and spacious with views over the rear of the property and a good sized bathroom. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant,...

Dear Mark Thank you so much for your lovely review - you are most kind. We have had a testing few weeks with the issues in our Spa beyond our control, so it is nice to receive and to respond to some positive feedback. Thanks for the feedback on the toaster - it's not something that has been raised before...
