Secret Meadows is owned by a nature conservation charity and is based at a beautiful nature reserve with species-rich meadows and woodland in the heart of Suffolk. Multi award-winning accommodation includes Luxury Lodge Tents, the Two Storey Luxury Safari Tent, Gypsy's Rest (gypsy caravan with shepherd's hut) and the Horsebox Hideaway (converted wooden horsebox) and each unit includes a private loo and shower, fully equipped kitchen with cosy range cooker, fridge, comfy sofa, ready-made beds (including some 4-poster beds), organic towels. Kadai (barbeque grill and fire bowl for campfires), hammock, and deck chairs. There are a range of on-site activities such as Meet the Animals and Whittling, tempting 'Specials' to choose from such as breakfast hampers, barbeque packages, and a farm pantry full of wholesome food as well as plenty of treats. Dogs are welcome outside of the main summer holidays. Secret Meadows has been featured in The Times, The Guardian and Country Living amongst many other publications. Awards include a Green Tourism GOLD Award, Winner of Best Camping, Glamping, Holiday Park and Self Catering Accommodation for East of England, and Winner of the Camping, Glamping & Holiday Park category at Visit England awards 2022.

Brilliant glamp site, with all the amenities and more - they have a lovely little store with goodies, and so much for the kids to enjoy from forest to play in, marshmallow cooking, farm animals and we had the hot tub tent which was a treat to sit outside amongst nature! Thank you - we will be back!

Love this place! Second stay here, and it won’t be our last! This time a mums-and-kids trip. We didn’t have such amazing heatwave weather this time, so did a few trips like Framlingham Castle. Still managed paddle boarding in Dedham Vale and lots of nice outdoor walks from the campsite, as well as evenings by the woodstove playing board games, and cooking pizzas over the fire outside. Kids had a ball roasting marshmallows, playing football, reading by candlelight, and feeding the chickens. It’s a very long trip for us from the North East, but worth every mile. Fantastic.

We couldn't have had a nicer time at Secret Meadows. A really well thought out and cosy glamping experience. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tent and furnishings. The beds were comfy, home comforts like the electric kettle and hot plate made everything so much easier, and the tent itself was just beautiful to be in! To top it off, Ross (staff) was wonderful, helping us out with the fire and some lovely chats. Highly reccomend!!

Fully equipped accommodation with everything you could possibly need and more, beautifully secluded location with fantastic views and only a few minutes from tescos if you did forget anything. The pantry on site is great, alongside the wood store. Having the chicken coops by your tent are great entertainment and is very exciting waking up to fresh eggs in the morning. The kids loved seeing all the farm animals on site and really safe for dogs to run around including a private, enclosed dog park. We will definitely come back and perfect for not only only being in big groups but private enough to have a peaceful time with just family.

I stayed at Secret Meadow glamping site in one of their luxury lodge tents with a small group of friends for a long weekend. It was lovely, walking onto and through the site on arrival was picturesque. The “tent” was amazing with a kitchenette area, living area with a wood fired stove, a large dining area, and then a four poster bed, double bed in a cupboard and bunk beds. Plus your own private toilet and shower, just outside. There was a veranda sitting area outside with chairs, a picnic bench, BBQ and hammock. We opted for the tent without electricity, so in the evenings with the wood fired stove going and the oil lanterns it felt very atmospheric. We did do day trips to Framingham castle, Rendlesham forest and Thorpeness but the site and tent were so lovely and tranquil you could easily just spend all your time there, relaxing, walking around the site and watching the animals and wildlife. Easiest 5 star in a long time. Thank you to the team for a wonderful break. Gypsys Rest was fantastic (couple and a young dog). The birthday decorations and hamper were spot on, and the break couldn’t have been better. The weather was on our side (early sept heatwave). We’re only local so had a great time being tourists in our own territory. Everything was well equipped and service was great when we had a query. The friendly cows were a bonus. Loved every minute. Highly recommend.

What a great find out in the middle of Suffolk. Hidden in a nature reserve set back on the edge of the woods. Fantastic safari tents, well appointed and everything needed to make your stay special. Loved the pantry, what a great idea, food and treats available 27x7. Definitely planning our next stay.

We just stayed in the fabulous two storey tent it did not fail to disappoint. This was our second visit and this time for my dad's surprise 70th birthday. Lovely touch of greetings cards from Charlotte, Ross and the Secret Meadows team, along with a birthday card for my dad and delicious chocolates. We stayed for 4 days and we never left the camp till the day we came home we just enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and the abundance of nature. The walks are beautiful we had the luckiest of sights to see three young stags that we think were enjoying a quiet rest until we stumbled upon them with two 5yr olds in tow needless to say they didn't hang around for a photo but what a pleasure to see. Were planning our next trip already thank you xx

We stayed in the horsebox hideaway for three nights. We had rain one night, wind the next and sunny the next - magical in all weathers. It felt totally secluded in its own meadow and our four year old loved the fairytale touches and bunk beds. Cosy log burner and everything you need for a switch off and escape. Highly recommend

Beautiful location with great nature trails and public footpaths nearby. The Two Storey Tent was very nicely decorated and was really clean. The hammock and swing are a perfect way to sit in the natural space. The porch is great for sitting and chatting on too. Staff were super helpful and was just a lovely, relaxing trip. Plenty of food, charcoal, wood, matches and fire stayers on site in the Woodstore and Pantry, plus shops are close by if you need provisions that aren’t there. Hampers from Grange Farm Shop were delicious too.
