Stayed 2 nights during the week in a single ensuite room and was not impressed. Single glazed windows that don't close properly mean you can hear every train pass by and every conversation of people leaving the pub in the early hours. Thick layer of dust on top of the shaving light socket in the bathroom, clearly hadn't been wiped...

One of the worst nights ever in a so called hotel. The place is filthy, the carpets were probably already threadbare 15 years ago and the smell of sweat and dirt pervades. Should you happen to wish to choose something to eat from the appalling menu, be advised that 'the kitchen closes at 8'. But 'don't worry, you can call...

I have to say when I arrived I was worried, I was tired and a live band was playing and I imagined a very sleepless night but needn't have worried. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we I said I had to leave before breakfast the women who showed me to my room offered to remove the breakfast charge...

Desperately in need of some TLC and a owner who cares about its customers. Smelt musty, dirty, stained carpets, dirty outdated decor, un- ironed bedlinen. Overpriced. Breakfast ok but served on the bar and had to make own toast. Had to sit in a smelly bar that was still being cleaned from the night before. Very noisy until early hours....

Mouldy bathroom, creaky floorboards, torn bed linen, loud music, lumpy mattress. Breakfast very simple and a bit inflexible. Friday night had two live bands with two drummers. But cheap, good beer and good location right next to the railway station. I slept like a log!

I visit this pub once or twice a month it has the usual beer, and real ale changes as the barrel runs out. That is ok but not special. The food is OK for an OK price. Down side for me is the old 80s piped music constantly being played and quality of the draught ale. The Staff are friendly.

Had an enjoyable visit to The Lincoln for a couple of drinks after work. The pub has a large area with lots of seating. There are a couple of pool tables and a juke box. The staff were amiable. We went on the night that they were holding a poker night which seemed well organised. The Lincoln is well situated...

I was in room 2, right by roaring traffic, listening to some poor soul coughing in the next room as I wondered whether to end it all. This must be one of the grimmest hotels, and I felt sorry for the staff who did their best, but knew it. I couldn't spend the night here - I would have got...

The room was basic but okay. If you are planning on getting any sleep avoid this place like the plague. 80's anthems blasting through the floor until midnight. I stayed here for business as a last resort as no other places were available. No respect for guests. This place should just be a pub at best.

Visited the Lincoln Arms whilst attending an exhibition held in the small room by the entrance. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Ordered a jacket potato meal and a pot of tea which was very good. Good service. The place is quite lively, but everyone was friendly.
