Recently stayed for one night only. The hotel itself is lovely, great decor and modern. The bar had a lot to offer and had a good atmosphere. I felt the service desk could have been a little more helpful, especially when you're paying for a service. They weren't as smiley as I'm used to staying in hotels and when I...

Hotel is in great location at the top of the High Street We stayed recently for 6 nights and except a cobweb that was missed everyday it was spotless. Rooms are a resonance size and have safe, TVs and free wifi. Don't miss the bookcase in the bar! Unfortunately the hotel gets let down by the attitude of the bar...

Please be warned that this hotel does not have the capacity to cope with large volume of paid guest staying at the hotel, who wish to use the SPA facilities. I have experienced this during my recent stay. The SPA area only has 10 Lounge seats and there are 183 rooms. (you do the maths). My booking was made over...

Dear Winnie D, Many thanks for leaving your review of the spa facilities and Harbour café. I am delighted that overall you enjoyed your stay but felt let down with our Spa. Unfortunately the leisure area is very small and control of maximum numbers is paramount to health & safety. We do recommend that booked appointments for treatments and use...

Me and my partner went to the spa this afternoon for a Valentine's Day treat and it has been lovely. The ladies at the desk were superb and very welcoming and got us seen to straight away. The spa had more than I expected and it was lovely. I think we spend about 6 hours there altogether. Halfway through we...

Stayed Sunday night on a DB&B basis. Lovely 3 course meal and a delicious breakfast. Asked for an omelette, and this proved to be a good choice. Two cups of strong coffee. Attentive staff and friendly service. Used the spa for an hour on Monday morning. Sauna, steam room and showers all well maintained and of superior quality.

The hotel room was superb but the hotel is let down by inefficient staff and a poorly run hotel. Coffee orders were lost and we had to chase. The room was dressed for 1 person when the booking was for 2. Card access often failed and we ended up ringing reception for help and to cap it all the hotel...

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th anniversary and the first night away from our 10 month old. The hotel is beautifully designed and furnished - in this respect it was a pleasure to stay. Unfortunately this is all it has in its favour. I interacted with staff on approximately 5 occasions and moods ranged from muted to...
