Tried booking a table for 7 on a Saturday night. No joy so we took a chance by just going in and hoping for a table in the bar area. Had to wait about 10minutes and grab the table quickly. So for future reference book in advance. Table staff didn't seem to be able to cope to well with serving...

Had drinks with friends and although the staff where pleasant, it was an underwhelming experience. We asked for Morjito cocktails, unfortunately the bar person managed to make the cocktails without the Morjito so the soda and mint was a bit of a shock for a birthday toast. When we returned the drinks, no real apology and no refund/ offer of...

Booked to stay with my Mum for 7 nights while Dad having serious Cardiothoracic surgery. First two nights in the family room. Very comfortable. Loads of room (4 single beds) to spread out. Had to be transferred to twin room on third night- much smaller but still clean and adequate for our needs. So convenient for the Freeman. You catch...

Very comfortable and peaceful also very clean. Furnishings were in need of revamping as looking tired. Breakfast was adequate. Would use again so it wasn't that bad. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

It was okay but I wouldn't go back. Not central and on a really noisy road. Clean enough and comfy bed but that was all. The staff didn't ask us if we had enjoyed our stay when we left so at least we didn't have to lie to be polite.

From hard beds to basic room facilities this is priced up against the travel inn market but falls way short in comparison. Needs some basic investment! Staff are friendly, but that's the highlight. Simple things like toilet rolls that fit the holder and are not to big, basically there using the ones that fit the bigger model used in the...

The handrails in the disabled toilet are disgusting. They're sticky and dirty. The barman in the function room was a bit hard pressed with the numbers. He had to go and get a key to open the till 3 times.

We were looking for somewhere that was great value and close to where our son is living. This place popped up on several websites so we gave it a shot. We were very pleasantly surprised, you would find it difficult to get as good a night's sleep with very friendly and helpful staff at any of the budget hotel chains....

Stayed here for 3 days whilst exploring the north east of the country. Chose it because it was cheap, though we learnt that breakfast wasn't included in the price but it was so reasonable that we couldn't complain. Excellent first rate service by all staff, made us southerners feel right at home. Food was fabulous. Centrally located in the city...

Mu husband & I stayed here for 2 nights as I was taking part in the run. I booked it a year in advance as have been caught out in previous years by the price increase over this weekend at other hotels. On arrival we found the attached pub heaving but we managed to check in & were shown to...
