This could be a very good apartment if more attention was paid to the smaller details.
Before we booked we enquired if there were chairs on the balcony as advertised and we were told there were, however when we checked in and got to the room, indeed there was no furniture on the balcony. We asked the receptionist and she gave us a different room, which was slightly nicer but again had no furniture on the balcony. We also had to request a proper balcony as we had seen on reviews that some are just Juliette balcony’s, so be careful.
Some further issues with the rooms, shortage of plates, glasses and cutlery which was sorted quickly by the receptionist/security guard.
There were no baking trays for the oven so we had to improvise with some silver foil. Windows and door did not shut properly, fridge door was loose on hinges so did not shut properly and was defrosting on arrival, some dirty marks on the walls.
We were there for a 3 night stay, when we arrived there was 3/4 of a toilet roll in each bathroom which had a sticker on to make it look new. When it got to Sunday and we asked for some more, we were told there was a £1 CHARGE per roll which is ridiculous considering we were there for 3 nights, this should just be given especially the length of stay.
It was not all bad however as the rating suggests, the location is very good, just a few minutes walk from the Quayside’s bars and restaurants and a couple of shops. Also a 15/20 minute walk to the town centre where you can access everything.
Beds quite firm but pillows comfy.
It was an enjoyable stay overall but some details let it down unfortunately.

Booked quayside apartment for family of 4 for a one night stay on New Year’s Eve, in reality some way back from quayside but not too much of an issue for us. The apartment is in a convenient place.

Receptionists very friendly and helpful upon arrival and checked in no issue.

Apartment was nice and allowed us to watch midnight fireworks from balcony which was good. Few niggles, cutlery had dried egg on and required washing before use, windows in need of good clean, blinds really difficult to move and had to request assistance as cord was snapped (and repaired) in one bedroom but as mentioned just a few niggles you don’t expect when paying close to £400 for the night. Devil is in the detail I suppose ! For example a pint of fresh milk in fridge rather than the little uht pots would cost next to nothing and give such a better impression.

Overall we would stay again.

Hello Jenna, Thank-you for taking the time to leave your feedback from your stay at Dream Apartments. I'm so glad to hear you were able to get a good view of the fireworks for New Years Eve! We're so lucky to have such beautiful views. I am disappointed to hear about those few issues you had. I have passed your comments onto our Housekeeping and Maintenance managers to resolve these and put systems in place to make sure this doesn't happen again. Please do get in touch when organising another stay as we can save you 10% off when booking direct. Warmest regards, Bethany Commercial Manager

Went to stay for one night in newcastle and saw these dream apartments and thought the pictures on the website looked amazing
And the price seemed a good deal. I made some notes and thought I would share these. There are no decent views from the apartments. Ours had views looking into other peoples homes.
The parking is under the hotel. The main thing to point out is it is very tight to get in there.
If you have a large vehicle you may not get in. There are only 6 spaces, so if you are travelling at a peak time of year you may not get in.
Once we got to the apartment (number 54) it had not been cleaned very well. There was a false eyelash on the lounge table
T-towel filthy. Stained and smells
Bathroom, dirty toilet paper in toilet and seat had clearly not been cleaned, looked like wee was on the seat.
Sink had not been cleaned.
There was water under towel rail. Either towel rail leaking or shower leaking either way water was on the shelf under towel rail when we entered.
Soap dispenser empty in bathroom.
Bin in bathroom already broken

In the lounge area
Walls were dirty and there were marks throughout theapartment

In the kitchen we had only cup when asked for one at reception. Guy actually used a key to let himself into the apartment. He actually came in although the door was locked
Barely any pots and crockery.
No washing up bowl or plug
Dishwasher had no salt or rinse aid and only 1 tablet. So could only do 1 wash

Positive room v quiet and warm.

All in all very dirty not well maintained. Very disappointing will not be staying here again.

when compared to the price of a hotel bedroom these apartments are great value for money and so spacious the staff are all very nice helpful and always welcoming .handy situe for queside .
looking at other reviews if you leave something in the apartment after you've checked out that's your fault common sense tells you to check you've got everything before you go

We have stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at Kensington House several times now. They are large, impeccably clean, good cooking facilities, comfortable lounge. Beds are doubles and very comfortable. Great location opposite Jesmond metro, or a short walk into the City Centre, ample off street parking and although on the Osborne Rd are amazingly quiet, with great heating. Some have 1 bathroom, others have 2, so whichever suits you. Helpful staff always remedy any minor problems efficiently. Great value for money midweek. A highly recommended place to have a relaxing stay in Newcastle.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Place was absolutely filthy when we turned up. Not a chance it was cleaned before we got there, flies and insects crawling the apartment. We were there for a stag do (as they had advertised) and they even asked us if wanted beer in the fridge (how kind)?! After we left the apartment in most likely a better state than we found it in, they charged our lead Booker £1200 to his credit card and cited this as cleaning cost. Absolute shambles of a company and snakes to deal with. Spend the extra £20 per person elsewhere and don’t fill the pockets of this bogging company.

checked in, gien key, key didn't work
went back down, found out we'd been give wrong room number.
started unpacking, knock knock on door, "there's been a mistake, you should be in another room".
we hurriedly re-packed and got dumped in another room which had a crap view over local dodgy estate rather than looking at the Tyne. Windows were filthy anyway.

So a bit miffed, we headed out. Didn't get back until 10pm, then found outwe had no wifi and no TV. Apparently there'd been a problem with the aerial. Well if that's the case leave a note, an apology. And the wifi code that had been blu-tac'd on the door, well it wasn't there.

But the worst thing was the bloody noise from the boiler. It was loud and continuous. So that's why it gets 1 star. Note there's a Premier Inn 200m away, and if you book in advance you'll pay 40% of the price the Dreamster charges.

I don’t usually write reviews but this apartment we stayed in was filthy. Body hairs in the shower, skid marks and pee all over the toilet, the place was totally run down. Bathroom mouldy, the place hasn’t been dusted since Nelson lost his eye. The glasses in the cupboard were all marked and disgusting, the cutlery was also dirty. The microwave and fridge was vile, you could feel the springs in the mattress. The washing machine was all mouldy and needing cleaned out. They make you pay a £250 deposit up front incase of any damage, what a cheek. They should be paying the guests £250 to stay there. When we complained to the receptionist about the cleanliness she said the housekeepers had went home for the day but she would ‘give it a wee wipe’ if we wanted. We were then offered a 2nd apartment which was just as filthy. The photos look nothing like what you end up staying in. What a dump

Would highly recommend not staying in these so called “dream” apartments full night away was completely ruined due to the state of this hotel, and the rude staff. we initially booked a night in the quayside and were placed in an alternative cheaper room due to lack of organisation and double booked us. So we lost out as we payed for a room with a balcony , not to mention the state of the room from lights hanging from the ceilings , a door that may aswell of been secured on with silicone and litter left behind the furniture not the mention a strong smell of drugs on entry. Would highly not recommend unless your after over paying for staying with in stench filled room in the centre above the night clubs. 👎

Our requests weren't put forward or done correctly! We wanted an appartment looking over the bridge, so we could watch the fireworks on NYE. There was a Medical reason on why we couldn't go and watch them hense the view request. Instead we got put on the ground floor room 5, no atmosphere in the room,it had no view, it could do with some colour also. The manager was nice, she filled our fridge to say sorry but we could only stay 2 hours in there, felt very uneasy
