Almost opposite the Sage and within very easy walking distance to the waterfront restaurants. Car park is underneath the hotel and feels secure. Staff helpful and friendly. Bed comfy and room clean with the much needed bath and shower facilities. Window a bit tricky to open and the room was stiflingly hot, provided with a fan but this was noisy...

Five of us stayed in three rooms over two nights. The £214 per room was on the steep side, especially when you consider that this is a dated and ageing p.i. After departing with our hard earned cash I had high expectations of my luxury Hypnos bed that Lenny is always asleep in, ohh no, our twin room was one...

Lovely hotel; close to local attractions; excellent, friendly staff; plenty of parking; well equipped, clean rooms and very comfy beds! Excellent choice at breakfast. Typical of the Premier Inn chain, but what more do you need?

Nice little hotel spot to stay in when in Newcastle. Staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were great value for money - the bed in particular was something I'd expect from a pricey 4 star hotel!

Stayed over bank holiday weekend, first visit to Newcastle and first visit to a Premier Inn: would recommend both! Hotel clean, efficient and quiet. Great location, just a short walk to Quayside area. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Could see the Tyne from window and it was only 5 minute walk to river and the Millenium bridge. Handy for town, free parking when we visited but there is a charge about to be introduced from May 2015 . Lift not working on the two days we stayed. Staff pleasant and helpful.

As a premier inn buff I cannot stipulate enough the reasons why you shouldn't book this hotel. On first impressions the hotel was rather disappointing. .. There is a pungent smell of...
