After waiting for years to stay in the Vermont the perfect offer popped into my in box! Dinner (inc bottle wine) bed and breakfast with a late check out for £139. Really good friends decided to book with us. So arriving Sunday about noon we...More
A clean well appointed hotel and rooms. Not air conditioned but fans available in rooms which were adequate even in a hot July. Good views of THE bridge over the Tyne and adjacent to the city castle. Tasteful bars and dining room, good breakfasts. Within...More
I was welcomed with a courteous receptionist named Holly, she was happy to help and was able to give me some sight seeing tips and places to dine. The room was a twin bed with ample space and kept very clean. The hotel is located...More
Unfortunately I have to write my first bad review. The Vermont was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room wasn't clean, the sheets on the bed smelled very bad, like they hadn't been washed. The service was poor and unaccommodating, almost as if...More

Have stayed here many a time and always been more than satisfied with everything. The staff, the food, the location just can't say enough about the hotel. Always managed to get parked outside. The hotel rooms are always immaculate, decor is luxurious.

The main entrance had a number of steps but I think the side entrance is at street level. There is a lift which will take you downstairs to the toilets but not sure where the disabled toilets are.
