Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Initially, I was worried about my stay as travelling solo and first time but its perfect place to stay and more reasonable as compared to other places. It's clean and hygienic. As its located in city centre so, connectivity is good. Overall my stay was good there and in future also going book Travelodge only being reasonable and comfortable. However, staff service should be improved and they should be more cooperative , I feel. Thank you.

Expected a huge hypnosis bed, instead got 2 single beds put together with seams down the middle not good for your bum,it wasn't really like the fancy adverts, if you tried jumping on it you would not get back up, far too low, so always check when you book as to what your sleeping on,

The hotel has the basics for a confortable stay. Rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. I didn't get a chance to use their wifi, just consider it's not included. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy. Eggs are bland and coffee watery, but there are other good options to choose from.

Last minute decision to stay over in Newcastle, easy to find, right on the Quayside and with its own carpark, room was clean & comfortable, with the usual TV, tea & coffee etc, hotel has its own bar area, we decided to go out round Newcastle, there in an Indian Buffet joined onto the hotel, we tried to get in around 9pm but it was full, so got one delivered to room, a good stay in a good hotel in a great location!

The hotel just sit a few hundred metres from the quayside. You can easily enjoy strolling the banks of the Tyne criss-crossing those 3 nearby bridges and having fantastic views. Also very near to all the city-centre must sees. Just try and experience it.

Stayed here 25th - 27th February 2024 A lovely clean hotel with restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile for you if needed. Many thanks to Chris who did just that for us when we needed a plug socket for medical equipment along with the need to cater to a guide dog user. He double checked free rooms for us and arranged an immediate upgrade to a family room that could cater to our needs. We will definitely stay here again.
